Close to the hot springs, clean and comfortable room!

It was old and somewhat run down. Great location!

Right on the Main Street, close to the hot pools and river float. Easy walking distance to several places to eat and shop if desired. Easy access back to the highway.

It was clean hotel could use updating. Had a hole by the door where it looks like an animal dug the carpet up. The air conditioning unit was extermly loud but worked. Computer system went down so ended up getting charged for the room twice but staff was friendly and took care of it right away

the beds are comfortable and it is located in a good spot. the property itself was clean enough. Our room was not cleaned very well (corners dirty and trash left in the ice bucket). The main concern I had was that I booked my stay a week ahead of time and even got a confirmation call yet on the day of they said they showed nothing in their system for me so I had to find another room even though I showed proof that it was booked. I stayed calm and nice about it since thankfully I was able to find a room in the town we were still in at the time an hour away. they offered nothing to compensate me for the inconvenience and stress of having to find another room and then I ended up being double charged. It was a bad experience and I never send in bad reviews.

It was what we expected and needed. The room was clean and comfortable.

For a very small town and limited options, it was great. Much better than an RV or tint. Yeah, it's outdated and in need of repairs, no hairdryer, blah, blah. It's a great place to stay given other options in Lava.

Not very clean, expensive for what it is. AC doesn't work the best in the room we were in. Weird smell.

Service was great able to sit by the river and watch the rider and got to watch the firework

We arrived 20 minutes early for our check in and had to wait over an hour and a half to get the keys to our room. While we were in the waiting room, the boss actually screamed at his employee “WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU” when she went to him for help. There were about 6-7 people waiting on their keys in the lobby when this happened and she was the only person helping with anything. Definitely made us feel unsafe in our stay and had to remind ourselves to lock the deadbolt.

Perfect location

Do not stay here. This hotel is old, dirty, and unsafe. The carpet is stained and gross, there are moldy holes in the bathroom walls, the shower heads are covered in lime/mold, and there are no locks on the inside of the door - no chain lock, no dead bolt, etc. However, the woman who worked the front desk was fabulous and kind. If we EVER had to stay here again, she would be the only reason.

Parking was a little tight, worried about getting a spot when I came home late one evening. The property is old but well maintained and taken care of, the rooms were quiet and clean. The hotel managers were nice people and very accommodating to the needs of those staying at the motel. I will stay at this property again on my next visit to Lava Hot Springs, ID.

So close yo the hot pools, walkable to everywhere. So relaxing and serene.

Not to bad of a place, needs a little upkeep, but not bad.

Very clean, quiet & friendly. Right across the street from the hot spring pools. Definitely will do again.

Was disappointed with the room. the bathroom door had a hole in it and the tub shower combo was dirty .. just need some big time TLC!!

Room was clean and fine, but plug-in deodorizer was way too much for the small space. Unplugged it, tried to open a window to air out eoom, but screen was torn and one fly was already in. Had to leave for a few hours to reduce the smell. Still ended up with burning eyes and a headache. Please reconsider what is used in the rooms. I'm not nearly as sensitive to smells as others i know, and it pretty much made me sick.

New managing couple were very nice and trying very hard. Condition of room was terrible, damaged walls, paint and carpet very bad. Unfortunately needs a lot of work 😢

Bathroom was a bit dodgy, so much that we didn’t dare try using the shower

Lava is a quiet and pretty place to stay i love it up there and will stay again in the future

Loved the mattress and sheets.

Stuff. with excellent. The rooms were okay. Only problem. head was a few snakes outside the door. Have stayed here before. And it's an OK place to stay close to the mineral tubs. And With? in walking distance to everything That Lava. has to offer. I would like to say again. The staff is really pleasant and nice. Just don't plan on checking in early.

The front office girl is the BEST!! She was super friendly and didn’t hesitate to help when I asked.

The bathroom had been remodeled and was good. My main issue was the carpet. I was old and crusty feeling and is probably 50 years old. The room would be quite satidfactory with a new hard surface floor.

Room was pretty beat up. Bed was terrible. Toilet was running (broken flapper?). Disgusting to pay such an exorbitant PET FEE for such a poor room.

Could use a little updating but over all a good value
