From check in to check out Contempra Inn had the nicest clerks! The hotel has been around awhile but overall it was very clean. The fan was rather dusty but a good concept for those who like to sleep with the noise or blowing of a fan. The toilet was too low for my liking as a tall person but understandable for the age of the property. The entrance got me a couple of times but I always remembered to turn in at the gas station finally on the 3rd try. Next to plenty of eateries and most importantly the airport.

Clean, comfortable room. Sketchy outside, great value inside. Little things matter, wifi fine, plug strip (square), made plugging, phones, cpap, etc. EASY! Shower large and clean. . Took a deposit for damage. RETURNED BEFORE I GOT TO THE CAR.Outstanding value especially for early morning flight. Thank you.

The hotel was very clean, the smell of cleaner in my room was very strong though and it took a while to air it out. The accommodations were fantastic, a little more room to unpack my clothes would have been nice.

I have stayed at the Contempra Inn on many occasions and have always been pleased at the cleanliness and condition of the property. The beds have always been extremely comfortable and the full size refrigerator is an added bonus. The area is very convenient for dining options of all varieties and there is a super Wal Mart close by if one chooses to eat or or more meals in their room. The management staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable and are knowledgeable about activities in the area. It can't be beat for the low rates.

everything was quiet

Not only was the room clean and tidy, but it smelled like a field of flowers. Emmanuel at the front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming, he knows where everything is and where you should go (and where not to), and everyone is friendly. Do not be confused; the price may be economy, but the service is FIRST CLASS.

It was extremely affordable, close to the airport and very clean inside our room. We used it to catch a few hours of sleep prior to a 5 am flight out of New Orleans airport. It’s a little dated, but overall the room was comfortable and perfect for what we needed. I would stay here again for the same reason. Please don’t be the person that wants a 5 star hotel experience after paying $50 for your room. It was well worth the price of our stay. Front desk staff was very friendly.

The front desk person was very attentive. The room was super clean, cold a/c and great selection of channels on tv, also large refrigerator with freezer.Very convenient to access to the interstate. Close to a variety of restaurants. Will definitely recommend to others.

The girl who checked us in was very nice, organized and professional. The hotel was clean and perfect for a one night stay before catching a plane back home. Our only complaint would be the air conditioner fan was noisy and making a clicking noise all night. It was hard to sleep with the noise. I am sure once they fix that, this room would be perfect.

There was a roach whenever we got into the room. We left the place in 3 minutes. Refund was issued.

Good place to stay

When we arrived the room smelled of marijuana, the bathroom tub was dirty. I went to the office and the manager did come to the room. He sprayed some air fresheners and cleaned the tub. We were told that the room would be on the list for a full service the next day. The room was never cleaned and we had no towels to shower with. Upon notifying the clerk at the front desk she, I was instructed to bring the dirty towel to the office in order to receive clean towels. When I returned I was informed that maintenance was gone and there were no towels to give me. I then asked for the information for the corporate office and was told it’s private owned and was given the hotel’s email information. I went back to my room and shortly received a call stating that I could come back to the office the manager was going get some towels. Long story short the young lady at the front desk needs to be fired, because her lack of concern and professionalism is the only reason I wouldn’t stay here ever again.

I had a single queen size bed, pretty comfortable to me. Room had fridge and microwave. Cable tv available. Clean room, plenty of towels and bath items. Temperature was easy to control with in room air conditioning. Only 1 incedent of noise and was addressed next day by management. Parking was a little tricky but easy to navigate. Parking space was just outside my room as I had a first floor unit. No onsite restaurant, pool or other amenities but snacks and minor toiletries avalable at front desk. Friendly staff. Nearby places to dine include mc donalds and a few restaurants. I tried one across the street with an Italian theme and had some very good meals. I may not stay at this particular place at a future visit, but was not disappointed with this one.

Ok place for a quick business trip

This is a great property for the price. It's clean and the front desk staff is quite friendly and helpful.

We had four people visiting and asked for another towel/rag and were rudely informed by staff that they only supplied 3 towels/rags per room even though the capacity for the room is 4. Two of the towels that were counted were on the bed hand folded into an animal which is cool if you dont actually have to use the towel but I do not care to use a towel that someone has touched all over trying to fold it into an animal! When you first walked into the room it smelled strongly of bug spray and so did the elevator. Other than that it was pleasant for the price range.
