The Artotel, Sanur Bali hotel is literally a work of art. The staff were helpful and friendly. The dine in options and food quality meant we didn't didn't venture out for meals. The room was large, spacious and super clean. The hotel is not on Sanur beach which is a 3 minute walk away at the end of the street. If you can live without ocean views from your room, this hotel is the place to stay.

This hotel has the BEST customer service I've ever seen. Everyone is so polite and willing to help if you have a question. The infinity pool on the roof has the best view. Great breakfast options. 3 minutes away from Sanur Beach. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your stay in Bali.

We have only stayed one night but the experience has been wonderful. The staff have been the most helpful & welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our 3 rd stay at Artotel in 6 years. Fabulous as always. Great location to boardwalk and delicious gelato a few steps away.

The staff could not do enough for us, they where always friendly and always seemed to be cleaning the hotel. Was noisy with doors closing through our the night waking myself and baby, maybe some rubber stoppers be fitted to prevent this.

Brilliant placed close to the beach, brilliant design and we loved the building. Rooms have great Artwork and are really funky. Breakfast is buffet with a great offering of options, staff are so lovely and caring. We had massages in the Hotel, they were excellent and it’s a beautiful room and girls were fantastic. A must!!!! We stayed 4 nights and would recommend staying there. Lots too restaurants close and beach is a fun place to visit.

Very clean, modern, professional, extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Excellent stay. Room was large and the bed/pillows were super comfortable. Best sleep in a long time. Short walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Service was friendly and quick. Breakfast was good with a variety of food to choose from. Lovely to sit at breakfast and watch the world go by. Good internet connection for working while on holiday.

Beautiful property. Lush with greenery. Beautiful breakfast area and nice breakfast. Stayed one night but can see it’s within walking distance to many nice shops and modern looking restaurants. Did not like that you can hear children, footsteps, work, trucks at night. Earplugs help.

I totally LOVED this place. It's artsy fartsy, everything is clean, the people and staff there speaks great english, super attentive and is great. Although the spa may not have as a super high class vibe as certain places, our consultant was Koh Ming (unsure how to spell), and was really good! Had a discound as an expedia member and I'm so glad we came here while our friends went to Glo Sanur for massage and was disappointed there. The food was also awesome, we wondered why we even went to other parts of Bali to eat local food.

I like the location and the place is very clean with a very friendly staff, wifi very good, breakfast ok. I like the pool but the area around the pool needs to be completely updated. There is no or very little shade. the whole area around the pool should be covered with what the Australian call "SHADE CLOTH". At present no matter what you will get sunburn. I think someone should pass that on to the Hotels Management. In general everything else is ok. Regards L. E. Trader

Hotel is in a great location for Sanur, easy walking distance to dining, beach, and shopping. Hotel was very clean and nice rooms, however the one thing it could improve on was the timeliness of service. Whether it be serving food, serving coffee, checking rooms on checkout, they all were just very slow and sometimes forgotten after asking multiple times at breakfast. The evening service was better but the morning services need to improve. Overall though, that wouldn’t stop me from staying again as all staff are very friendly and the hotel itself was very nice.

Lovely hotel, great staff. Our room, a studio 30 was a reasonable size for 2 people. We had a great bathroom and a small balcony. The common areas are gorgeous, beautifully decorated. The pool is lovely and as it is on the rooftop, it gets quite hot in the middle of the day. We were told it gets too windy to put up and shade or umbrellas. There is a tiny area in the shade if you get there early. It’s a great space for a sunset swim. Breakfast was extensive and the freshly cooked egg station was lovely. The hotel is well located, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Happy to recommend.

Great hotel in a great location of Sanur. Only 1 thing I would suggest! Need umbrellas around the pool.

I found Artotel Sanur on Facebook during Covid and decided I had to stay here on my next Bali trip, even though I normally stay in Seminyak. Pretty good value and I'd stay again. Pros: * Close to the airport. The Mandira Toll Road was only around Rp15,000 to use, but shaved 30 minutes off the trip. * Close to the beach and numerous eateries, yet still quiet. * Breakfast buffet was tasty and plenty of options, both Asian and Western. * Hotel team friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my door key reader, which was sorted out within 15 minutes. * Small balcony off the back ideal for drying swimwear or dive gear before flying home. * Gorgeous interior that felt more like a gallery than a hotel. Love the staircase! * Get a room at the back for stunning sunrise Mt Agung views. 😃 Opportunities: * Water refills given but you have to ask at reception or restaurant. Why not put dispensers on each floor to encourage water consumption and also avoid creating busy work for the restaurant team when we can self service? Especially when the team *were* busy during service, based on the backlog of empty glassware stacked on the service bar area. * Coffee pods and small toiletry bottles aren't eco friendly, but then drinking water is provided in reusable glass bottles. Not so eco friendly. * The rooftop pool doesn't have any shade. It is flaming hot up there. The upstairs bar didn't have water, I had to trek to the ground floor restaurant. Water and shade needed.

Hotel is nicely designed, love the artsy vibes. Pool is nice too. However, it gets kind of dark at night there's no light in the building and limited lights outside the room. Room likewise is also dark when is at night with all lights on, the designs can be improved to make it brighter perhaps. Location is good nearby there are food and a short walk to the beach .

The staff are terrific: fun, friendly and helpful. Room looking a little tired - scuffed paintwork, chipped tiles, bathroom sink drainage very slow. More detail to attention is needed when servicing the room; on a few occasions I had to ask for towels, replacement coffee pods, shower gel... Good coffee and omelettes at breakfast, but could do with some healthier cereal options than the sugar-laden varieties on offer. Dinner with friends in the hotel restaurant was good quality and reasonably-priced. The rooftop pool area is very pleasant and generally peaceful during the day. The location is very convenient for local shops, restaurants, bars and massage/beauty salons, the beach is a 5-minute walk at the end of the road, and another 5-10 minutes walk north presents a selection of good beachside restaurants.

Stone throw away from beach where you can enjoy a long peaceful walk on paved pathway. Great value for money

Everything was pretty good. The breakfast was good. The only complaints that the fridge didn't get cold enough (no compressor type) and we preferred a kettle in the room.

Checking was fuss free, room was gorgeous and clean and the air conditioning was to die for. Hotel is located in a great area with a night market and supermarket within walking distance and a Italian restaurant with a gelato storefront (you’ll see the queue from afar) I will definitely stay here again!

The staff were 1st class. The property had everything I needed. Excellent value for money. Great breakfast. nice quiet safe area.

The hotel looks nice and has most amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there were a bit too many negative things with the stay. Bed sheets had stains, even after they were changed. The breakfast wasn’t really as good as you would expect from such a hotel. Seems like they tried to combine elements from Western cuisine with the Indonesian, but without succcess. The hotel itself is also very noisy with rooms that are poorly insulated, making it hard to sleep. The location is ok, with a few restaurants and bars close by, but the «central» area of Sanur is a 2 km walk away. There’s also a beach almost next to the hotels.

Friendly & kind staff, Hotel is quirky in terms of design and art. The spa is a great place to pamper yourself after a long day! Pool is great too, with so much access to the sun if you intend to sun tan. Overall, the place is easy to access, will come back again! Thank you!
