Clean and simple cabin in a nice setting overlooking the river. Great location.

Stay was fine. The rate has jumped 35% which is ridiculous considering it’s Blanco, TX in the dead of winter a day after an ice storm. I have stayed here many times while building a home nearby but I will consider other options based on the rate increase and the fact that amenities are extremely limited. There’s a nice large soaker tub but no bath gel or bath salts of any kind provided…you’d think a small bottle of something would be provided at this price. Tiny shampoo/conditioner and a bar of soap is it. The TV is difficult to operate and lighting is poor in the “living” area. Three way lamps have one way bulbs and the only other light to read by is a ceiling fan light overhead. It used to be a good value but not with a 35% increase…I’m disappointed as I love the location and was willing to compromise. It’s 4:00am and the tenant upstairs just got up for the bathroom…I could hear everything including the loud flush! That’s never happened before! Maybe it’s time for a change?!?

We stayed here at Blanco Riverside several years ago and since then it has become an annual vacation spot. Love the location right next to the state park with a view of the river. Walkable at the south edge of town and Josie’s restaurant right next door. Mini-kitchen with utensils is convenient for takeout. Had to reboot the Dish network box (froze up) for the tv but that wasn’t much of a big deal. Very clean and quiet. Most importantly we love having a whole cabin to ourselves. We’ll keep coming back!

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The place was very nice and just loved the room and property. Room was clean with comfy pillows and bed. The bathroom in the villas was huge! Great place to stay. We only stayed one night but when we go again i will definitely stay longer!

Rooms were excellent and spacious.

Was a nice place & good location. Very nice courtyard. Wish the fountain would have been working. Our bathtub had a running facet that would not turn off. He finally found main knob & turned water off. But overall a nice place to stay.

Property was great the blue cabin is very nice, would not be a grate choice if you have any movement disability's though the other cabins looked assessable. Clean and well-kept room with excellent park view, having reserved parking is grate, though the blue rooms parking is a little tight with the dumpster right behind you. Overall, I would recommend this property to friends.

Place is nicely done-not finished. Baseboards missing. Could use rearranging and adding a couch/loveseat. Have to say tv too small. It was convenient to the golf course and that was a plus.

Blue Cottage: The code for entry did not work. Had to call for a backup. There is no light near the parking area or cottage. Difficult to navigate from parking to cottage after dark. The TV did not work at all during my stay. Ran out of toilet paper; could not find any extra rolls after the first one ran out. There is an exposed rebar above ground at the top of the lot between the cottage and parking area. Hard to see and dangerous trip hazard. There is a dead tree limb hanging over the path from the cottage to the parking area. It hangs low and cannot be seen after dark. It either hits you in the face or sticks in your hair as you try to approach the cottage. These are small things, but if attended, could definitely raise your rating. The cottage itself is nice and I would stay there again.

The cabin was very comfortable, well taken care of and clean. It has a kitchenette, separate sitting area, large TV, Jacuzzi Tub with shower, large comfortable bed and nice views of the River and State Park. Numerous excellent Restaurants within a mile and a very private/quiet area. Communication was excellent and had a contactless check-in.

Coming into town for a business trip and needed a nice quiet place to stay. The Blue Cottage did not disappoint. It was sized perfectly for what i needed, clean, comfortable and the bath towels were so soft and plush. (Its the little things that make me happy.) I was able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the scenery both in the evening as well as with the morning coffee. Exterior was well manicured.

When you drive up you may wonder. But once you step into the villa it is wonderfully finished and decorated. The back veranda overlooking the river is great and comforting. Nicest place we stayed on a 3 week trip.

Cottage was pleasantly updated. Everything was in good working order and clean. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch during the evening. I would highly recommend!!

The place was great and backs up to Blanco State Park

I was so impressed with this room. It was absolutely wonderful. The bathroom was excellent, it even had a spa like feel and a hot tub bath. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I slept like a baby. They even had enough coffee and we didn't have to ask for more.

The property had a cool old Texas/ Spanish charm. It was spacious, decorated well, great shower and sheets. The view of the river was beautiful and it’s convenient to walk to breakfast and has a nice lunch and dinner restaurant next door. I will definitely be staying here again soon.

Our stay at the Blanco Riverside Cottages was amazing! The cottages were clean and up to date. The owner was incredibly nice! If we ever come back, this will be where we will stay!
