The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The town of Evora was lovely and we were very pleased to spend the night there when all the day trippers had gone. We wished we knew the hotel swimming pool required the use of a cap and flip flops before we went.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. The hotel had a wonderful rooftop terrace bar, where you could enjoy a drink and be surrounded by the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing: great buffet with something for everyone.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old city. We spent only one night there. We visited Evora’s beautiful old town. Had a great meal in one of the restaurants there. Driving to the hotel and from the hotel was extremely challenging.

In a country that is known for its paper products, we were surprised that we did not have Kleenex in our bathrooms
Also, we would’ve appreciated better quality pillows on the bed and more pegs to hang our towels in the bathroom near the sink.

We had a nice stay however the checkin time was changed at the last minute by the hotel to 4:00pm, and we did not receive notice of this. We only had one night in Evora and were leaving early so this was not a welcome change. The staff worked hard and did get us a room by the original checkin time.

A beautiful property with very nice design. Staff was very helpful and friendly, parking was easy and you can walk to everything Évora has to offer. The facilities were starting to fall into disrepair - the window in our room was broken, for instance - and they oddly don’t provide conditioner in the room, which is inconvenient for people with long hair (like me).

We loved our stay at the olive hotel! We were able to swim privately in the indoor pool and outdoor! The staff were sooo nice and it was so convenient to have parking underground included. We will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family. A gem!

Everybody was really friendly and accommodating. The beds were super comfortable, the blackout curtains worked well and it was pretty quiet. The keys need to be in the slot to use the electricity which is nice. Shower was comfortable, big and good water, pressure enough hot water etc. Jim was decent and the pools look nice. It was just too chilly during our stay to use them. The bar also had a nice vibe

I was living out of a suitcase and assumed a hotel would have an iron in room. Silly me. I called
desk twice: no one answered. Finally went down to desk(with about 4 employees standing there) and asked if they provided an iron. Young girl went off on a search and came to my room about 30 mins later.She was very apologetic. I don’t ask for much but is an iron in every room too much to ask?Never have had this issue before and staff at desk were rather dismissive. Don’t think I’d stay here again but it was a decent hotel. The employees need a refresher course in customer service.

Super friendly staff at this beautiful property located walking distance to all the historic areas. Great bar to relax in and yummy breakfast buffet. And the room was very comfortable with a really nice shower. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nicely designed with very calming decor. However, for a four star hotel they didn’t have any tea/coffee making amenities in the room, no robe or slippers. I did get a robe by going to reception myself, thanks to the helpful staff members at reception. For tea/coffee, I suppose you can buy at the bar. We have been travelling in other Portuguese towns that week, staying at similar hotels and this lack of above amenities compared to the other places was a bit of a shock.

Room and property were magnificent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was by far the best dining experience we had in Portugal. The food and wait staff were at an elevated level. This hotel is conveniently located just minutes from Evora's historical center. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the towels thick and in excellent condition. My friends and I enjoyed ending each day enjoying glasses of good Portuguese wine and Super Bock beer in the hotel's bar. Parking is onsite.
