The room was really a 2 person bedroom where the hotel had added 2 rollout beds into the room to sell it as a 3 person bedroom.
The mattresses definitely need an upgrade and the rollout bed was extremely uncomfortable.
The breakfast was nice but very slow in refilling. I definitely enjoyed the variety of cheese and bread on the menu. However if you like eggs, the boiled eggs were had the worst smell I had ever seen on an egg!
Best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s super close to the center of the city with lots of options for shops and restaurants.
The staff were very nice and friendly.

We stayed for one week with the whole family of 5. We enjoyed it. The location is great, the staff are super friendly and attentive. Our only feedback is that the cleaning crew was not up to speed. I think Management is aware and addressing this already.

Friendly, helpful staff. Decent sized, clean rooms, and a pretty decent location - only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Parking is pretty limited, but I was able to find free street parking very close by. The receptionist actually offered to move her car if we were unable to find a spot, so really nice staff.
And the final touch was the complimentary bottle of wine in the room….The one I have been promised multiple times by hotels.com, but which never actually appears. Hotel Lowengarten is the first place to actually deliver on that, so top marks.

Great hotel within easy walking distance to the town, had a great stay, staff very friendly, comfortable beds and parking which is important to us as we ride a motorcycle so it was totally safe on hotel car park. A lovely stay for a long weekend.

Great locati, only had street parking which was free overnight until 9am. Restaurant service was great and they stayed open late to provide us with a meal. Food was nice but very limited options. We had difficulty in making selections for our family, so we would recommend to eat there based on that.

You are in good hands at this hotel, whatever type of travel brings you here. I was traveling with two elderly parents and experienced excellent service, despite a late check-in on our part. Room was spacious, which was important to us, and breakfast is plentiful and generous. Inner city with shops and sightseeing is just two blocks away. Limited parking right at the hotel, with additional parking in the adjacent streets.
