My time at the Unique Home in Oia was brilliant, I met with my host Joanna whom gave me an in depth tour of the property with all amenities briefing and a quick tip on the local area which was very helpful for my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the place and would highly recommend it. Richard

The place is amazing! You just gotta be careful on what you book and really read the description of the property. Not all of them has a hot tub, only two of the property. We ended up staying at the Al Mansion one. No hot tub but the place is absolutely beautiful, however it’s has a private rooftop which is super nice! the host of this property is amazing as well. She took really good care if us!

This apartment is nothing like the pictures used for the property. You can NOT see the sunset from the apartment and there are no lounge chairs on a roof top. This apartment is very small and just off one alley way in the center of Is. it’s an amazing location but difficult to find when checking in. Make sure you make contact with the manager about your arrival time, especially if you do not have cell service. There is NO front desk or meeting area, so I highly recommend having her meet you at the bus stop so she can walk with you there.

When I booked this suite, I was expecting a nice place where to spend my nights in Santorini, with a terrace where to see the sunset and also a jacuzzi...unfortunately, it happened that I stayed in a kind of “storage room” underneath the actual suite. The room is tiny, facing a busy walking area making hard to sleep until late. There is no real shower, only a toilet with the shower head and a drain; the little boiler will give you a hard time to take a warm shower anyway...1x1.5mt and no sink: brush your teeth in the mini-kitchen sink. The bed is situated on top of narrow stairs, and it’s almost attached to the ceiling. Something weird to address is that me and my girlfriend felt itching legs and arms during all night...maybe the bed-lines... Summary of the story: the description of the room has many different pictures that belongs to different suites and it’s really misleading. If you want to spend your night in a nice and romantic place, make sure you book somewhere else.

Location is near bus station but nowhere near you can watch the sunset on the property. The Alsaki suite is super tiny and so close to the roads where people walks by you can hear everything from the other bar/ restaurant next door. It’s not what It looks in the pics esp the bathroom

Al’s Mansion is only a stone throw away from everything i.e. the bus station, the main shops/restaurants and the famous sunset place. The house itself is beautiful with the added bonus of a rooftop to view the sunset away from the crowd. Since this is not a hotel there is nobody at the property 24/7 so the only downside is you have to make sure you communicate early with the property manager your time/mode of arrival so somebody will meet up with you. But otherwise our stay was spectacular. I will highly recommend this place.

It’s a beautiful location. It was difficult to speak with the people in charge of the property thru WhatsApp but they were very friendly. We arrived on an early flight and the house would not be ready till 2pm which is check in, we asked if we could leave our bags there but they said no. The maid met us at the post office after 2:20pm which was annoying because we were exhausted and carrying all our bags. We got to the house and there was no hot water in the shower and honestly I was over calling the house people. We dealt with it, the house itself is charming, and the views perfect. We would stay there again just probably handled it a little different.

It’s a small room at the corner, no signs to indicate that it’s the room. There’s no check-in reception, be sure to call up to let them know of your arrival before you reach. Room is clean and cosy! No views from the room but you can walk out to watch amazing sunset views.

There is mo reception in this property so had contact the phone number directly after wandering about half an hour. The host was kind but the room was inconvinient. So small toilet and There was no sink in the toilet. Had to use the sink in the mini kitchen. It was in front of the oia bus station. Would be good who use public transportation.

This was a great place to stay in Oia. It’s a modern ‘cave’ house built into the caldera right next to the old fort. It faces the setting sun and has its own private rooftop terrace where you can sit to view the wonderful sunsets. It also has a lower dining patio, also with wonderful views. Inside it has a living area with kitchenette, a ‘cave’ bathroom, 2 ‘cave’ bedrooms with very comfortable king size beds and a further bedroom with a small double bed and a single bed on a mezzanine level. It was a great base for our 10-day holiday and I would thoroughly recommend it. Joanna, the host, was very welcoming and helpful.

Very small room, bathroom like a cupboard and no where to sit outside with any privacy. Nicely decorated but not suitable for 3 people. Joanna the lady who met us at the apartment was an absolute delight.

Out side view is good because in oia room has dusty also bathrooms electronic leakage when you open the hand washing you feel the electric is pain . Be careful for the next guest

Location was perfect for a short term staying. Host was kind and her helping was fantastic for a travelers. But there wasn't able to connect to wifi. even though it has signal for it strongly

I would recommend renting a car and my host had arranged one for me at the airport pickup and drop. Very safe to park at the post office but parking is limited. You don’t need a car otherwise if you are planning to stay in Oia only. I would highly recommend staying in Oia then other places to get true white/blue postcards romantic views. Forget if you are planning to see other places such as Fira etc from Oia by foot.

The place was nice and spacious. An FYI, The location shown on the map was different then where it was. The view was great! We really enjoyed the roof top deck to watch the sunset from. Only complaint is that the shower head was broken, so we had to hold the shower head to shower which is very awkward when trying to wash your hair. Also, the bathroom and kitchen cabinets had a musty smell, which I am assuming because it is a cave. We kept the bathroom fan on to diffuse the smell. Other then that it was clean, and the little kitchen was nice to have.

My friends and I spent two nights at this wonderful villa in Oia. The beautifully decorated villa is located in the perfect spot in Oia, away from all of the noise, but a few steps away from the shops and restaurants of Oia. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and dressed with the finest beddings. The house has an outdoor patio and a lovely rooftop terrace. This is the perfect villa for a honeymoon or a girls trip. Although there is only one bathroom, it wasn't a problem at all. To anyone wanting to rent this villa, I encourage you to communicate with the owner by telephone, arrange for car service through the owner three days ahead of your scheduled trip, and don't be skeptical about renting the villa. You will be pleasantly surprised.
