At check in the Front Desk was less than friendly , very argumentative when asked a question . Motel is very run down . I asked about the breakfast being included and was informed it was coffee cereal and some rolls . I choose to go to McDonald's every morning . I was informed there was no house keeping on Saturday and Sunday .

Breakfast was very poor, coffee always empty, milk was in half gallon jug everybody handled and no juice of any kind.

Everything was clean, and night-desk clerk Kathryn was very helpful.

Our room had a terrible smell. I asked for a room spray. The lady at the desk was unfriendly and very rude. We will not stay there again

Room needed repai/painting, mattresses not firm and HVAC wall unit noisy at night.

The hotel was fine but there was no hot water on the morning I checked out. The desk was told but didn't offer to do anything.

The property is old and dirty. Hole in bathroom door. Not maintained to standards to the price paid. Booked online but they did not have the reservation causing a very long checkin time and had to check in outside in the cold because they close the lobby. No true “continental breakfast”. Toast, bagels, and cereal only. Coffee is taken down at 9:30am, it provided all day. Many amenities listed that are not provided including WiFi

I booked a smoking room 6 days in advance. When I got there at 8:30pm they had no smoking rooms and refused to give me a non smoking room. I had to find another place to stay. The woman at the desk was very helpful in helping me find another place. The manager or owner is the one who refused me, the woman that helped me felt awful.

Convenient & good price. Had to pay before seeing the room. Missing knob on AC/Heat unit that was set on lowest temp. Freezing cold in room since it was 28 degrees outside. Was told nobody was available to fix anything because it was a busy weekend. Breakfast was 2 offerings of cereal, toast, a gallon of milk, & a bottle of juice in a mini fridge. No coffee, no microwave. No elevator. Bathroom & sink area not clean so I bought lysol wipes & did it myself. 2nd & 3rd nights were a little better because it wasn't as cold outside.

Price was excellent

The Motel is a bargain motel for folks who want a clean room, comfortable bed and clean linen without all the fluff and high price. The staff was very attentive to my needs while being frugal with amenities. No shampoo, conditioner, soap (except at sink) etc.. My standard two double bed room had a coffee maker with enough for two, a Microwave and refrigerator that worked. Seems to be more for the traveling worker or Overnight traveler and that's all that is needed. They did have a continental breakfast but I didn't eat. The wood frame facility needs some attention as well as the standard upkeep in the rooms but I remember when it was built and I think the owners are doing the best they can to keep up. Needless to say the place was packed so the Price was right from my perspective and I would stay there again.

It is a very old hotel and rooms were obviously rather old but overall for the price and location it was a good hotel.

I didn’t a toy there, I called to let them know I was getting there after 11pm and the lobby told me they close at 10pm and hung up on me. I had to get another hotel

Desk clerk was very rude, I was called multiple times, the day after checking in, they had checked me out, when my reservation was for three nights. Then about house cleaning, both times they were very rude, when checking out, the front desk lady was angry we didn’t want them in our room, and grabbed a sign that was off to the side of the desk and shaking it in our faces saying must let housekeeping in every day no acceptons . Very angry lady. Not a pleasant experience. Rooms were livable, but not great.

I think this motel has been unfairly reviewed by some. It is a basic motel with some rough edges, but is clean and comfortable. The mattresses were new and extremely comfortable. As I read in other reviews, the carpeting was not bad. A wall had a scratch on it but that was from the handle inside the door hitting the wall occasionally. To be expected. The air conditioning was good and the bathroom clean. TV, microwave and refrigerator worked. And, I left my phone in the room and it took us a few minutes to get back to the motel. Arriving, the desk attendant was on the balcony waving my phone at our car. We were well served by this moderately priced motel and they do not deserve the questionable reviews on line.

This place is clean, and the beds are comfortable. I have no problem staying here.

I've stayed here many times. It's clean and convenient to anywhere around Lenoir.

The room was clean and it was quiet but it needs a good bit of renovation and updating. The free continental breakfast was a bag of plain bagels and cereal. The outside swimming pool had no water in it.

When we arrived, I was told I had no reservation, but I had copy of the confirmation from hotels.com. I should’ve tried to find another motel, it was a sign. The motel rating is very wrong, it should be a 2 star. The clerk was adequate, but far from friendly. The room we were given had very foul odors, did not look clean, so we got a different room. When I turned the keys in for the foul room, I heard someone I couldn’t see, asking the clerk how I liked the room I was given, and was told, she didn’t, she ask for a different room. The second room looked and smelled cleaner, but when going to take a shower, I discovered the tub had black ask looking debri around the drain, the shower curtain had black mold on it, also the sheets were old and thread bare. The carpeting in both rooms looked to be newer, that’s the only plus. The toilet was rocking, and needed to be reseated, not safe to sit on. No WIFI either! Forget about the continental breakfast, it’s minimal and didn’t look fresh, so it was a wash as well, we only took coffee, which wasn’t bad. Thanks God we we’re only in town for one night. This place needs a major remodel inside and out. And new management, in my opinion. Also, was charged a $30/night pet fee for a 6 lb dog, which was not stated in the rental information. Would not stay here again.

Loved the stay, jacuzzi bath tub was a huge plus, night clerk was fun and friendly.
