Rundown and outdated for the price

So we were just looking for a cost effective place to stay. Noticed these had been updated somewhat recently and matched another motel in town. The linens were clean and changed daily. The Internet was down and was a real drag. I think if they had replaced the horrendously loud bathroom fan and provided some towel hooks and maybe refreshed the room table then this place would be ok for the price. But the fan was sooo loud that it made going to the bathroom problematic.

Down Motel paid 325 dollars for overnight stays in 2024 on Sep. 3. I bought a room because it said there was only one room, so I checked back later and found that there were two 198 dollars rooms. So I went to the office complained and asked for another room, and they refused to change the room and got scammed. Be careful Town Motel when buying a room

The room was very clean. Keep in mind this is a motel, not a hotel (drive up to room entrance). The AC was a portable AC a fan. The bathroom sink was a stand alone vanity outside the bathroom, that did not conceal the paint and wallpaper ripped out when they pulled out the previous sink. The room was listed as a kitchenette, which we discovered was a microwave and a dorm refrigerator.

Okay property. The bathroom was pretty outdated for the price of the room. The bed and pillows were okay, but I tossed and turned a lot.

The hotel is old but well maintained and clean. The front desk staff was super accommodating as we arrived early to make an online meeting. It’s just out of town, so not convenient for walking around the town. A nice place for a quick stay.

It is a good motel to stay around Olympic. Good.place to say in transit. A bit unsafe as there were violence issues next door tomour room.

Cute little motel served our needs. Room was clean and room amenities were good. I would have given a better rating but when I checked in at 3:00 PM, I was told that the the room would not be ready until 4:00 (check-in time was supposed to be at 4:00). I never received a notification prior to my arrival, which would’ve been nice as I planned my day around the check-in time.

Nice size room with a good layout. The beds we had were comfortable. I personally slept like a rock. Also used the refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room.

The Motel was nice. It was clean but a little noisy. You could here the people next door speak. The Location was very practical since the things we wanted to visit were all within reach.

We liked the location of the property, was centered in an area where we wanted to hike in Olympia National park.
The beds were comfortable and place was quiet.

Don’t do it! This motel was way too much money for the gross conditions. Everything was outdated. There was mold on the ceiling and the water had no regulator in the sink. It splashed you immensely and the hot was scalding and burned me the first night. I don’t know if there were nicer hotels for the price range, but would have gladly paid more had I know. How bad this place was. We checked out a day early and had a nice stay at the Red Lion in Port Angeles.

Basic motel kept neat and beautifully clean. Well equipped with fridge, tv etc. furniture rather tired but well cared for. Central position and quiet surroundings despite being next to the main road.
