Hotel was closed when we arrived at 9pm and they had a paper on the door to call.a number they tell me to open with a code the door and everything was dark.

This hotel is very centrally located to visiting Pezenas and you can easily walk anywhere you would like to go. Parking can be a challenge as free parking is very difficult to find close to the hotel unless you are very lucky. I do not like the bed I had on my last stay, very very firm and I like firm.

Our room was nice and we had no issues with the actual property. My only criticism is that the staff were not that helpful. Unless you have a rental car it’s difficult to get anywhere. We had friends staying at a different hotel close by and the staff there were amazing at getting taxis for the guests. They barely tried during our stay and we only were able to get a ride to our rental car on our last day because a staff member asked someone they knew who over charged us by almost double (70 euros to drive 20 minutes). Actual room and building is nice and clean, but the service was not good.

Three-night stay for a wedding in the area. Excellent location, historical building, updated / clean rooms, really comfy bed, and fabulous continental breakfast. You make your own fresh-squeezed orange juice; hope they keep that feature!!!

A very old hotel not in very good condition.
Unfriendly reception staff. The did not tell us when booking we had to book the car park so we had to pay for car parking elsewhere and pull the bags to the hotel as they don’t have a porter
They also tried to charge us for breakfast that we had already paid for.

Just one night as travelling up through France. Older hotel but with nice character and everything we needed. Very helpful reception. Decent size room and very comfortable. Centrally located in a typical od French town with lots of bars, restaurants and little alleys to explore.

Great hotel in a really central location. Clean, spacious and well equipped rooms which were not too busy even when facing onto the main road. The breakfast is good value and you are perfectly located for exploring the town.
The hotel is also directly opposite the bus station so getting to and from the hotel is really easy.

We stayed one night at the height of the coronavirus crisis. Most of the facility was closed and we never met the staff.
It is a grand old hotel, a throwback to the old days, with a grand piano in the lobby, a reading area and pictures and statues from the past. The building, halls, and common areas are clean but tired. The rooms have been completely remodeled, clean, and brought up to date.
The main purpose of writing the review is this - the washroom has beautiful new stone tiles. Unfortunately they are extremely slippery when you step out the shower. Dangerously so. This must be ameliorated or some elderly person is going to have a very nasty fall.

Perfectly nice hotel, well located, easy to park for free on the other side of the road. Very friendly receptionist. Would possibly need an update, but it was charming and would definitely stay there again. The shower was new and good.

Elegant and distinguished old building, close to the bus station. Rooms updated to a good standard, mostly in a new wing. Service compétent, and altogether a good place from which to explore a beautiful town

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Perfect location with free parking in the big car park across the road (not on the road). It was such a pretty town with lots to see and lots of places to eat and drink. The staff were lovely and the room was huge, with aircon and comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Overall I can’t find one fault! We will definitely return if we pass through Pezenas again.
