Owner was very pleasant. Bathroom was clean. Toilet hiding behind the door when you open it through us. Bed comfortable enough to sleep well. Carpet worried me a little. Traffic noise in the day was bothersome. But was surprisingly quite at night.

Everything was really nice private parking for each room, nice sitting area out in front of the room and by the garden, very friendly staff.

Stayed in a lot of places but this is my favorite! Staff super friendly and place very clean and well maintained!

The ownership of this establishment is extremely horrible. I would highly advise you to take your business and money somewhere else.

Tile coming up around toilet has mold underneath.We left and drove to Knoxville and stayed at Hampton inn

Everything was as described. The room was clean. The air-conditioning worked good and we had a comfortable stay.

The room was absolutely spotless!! Yes, the motel is dated but so is every other non-corporate hotel in Maggie Valley! They provide you w a clean microfiber towel every day (without you having to ask) to wipe down your bike so dont be that guy and use the room towels! The owners went out of their way to help us w a couple of issues (not related to the hotel AT ALL) that we ran into. This is great, very budget friendly, very biker friendly place to stay in Maggie Valley especially if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in your room.

It is not fancy but it’s clean and comfortable. I like to do business at “mom and pop” type businesses. There is a nice pool, grilling area, fire pit area and rocking chairs in front of the rooms. I will definitely stay here again!

It was basic, but good. The staff was flexible and friendly. After talking with them on the phone they remembered the conversation and had done everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

The management is very nice. The room was clean but old. The property was clean. Breakfast was packaged rolls and some fresh fruit. The shower water temp fluctuated. Cold, warm, hot, cold warm hot.

Great little hotel in town. The price is very reasonable and you get a clean room, nice hosts and a comfy bed. This is my 2nd time to stay here.

Everything went well. Very clean despite the hotels age. I did, however, lose the room key due to the key ring being stretched. This incurred an additional $25.00 fee.

Greatly cleaned and nice smell in the room, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are very clean, owners were very welcoming....over all very pleasant stay! will be a to go place for Maggie Valley :)

We chose this motel for its low price. Furnishings were aged as was washroom. We got what we paid for but on hindsight I would pay more next time for more comfort.

Like having storm door to let fresh air in

I find the room is peaceful and safe. The room is energy-efficient and stays at an even temperature. The staff are professional and attentive to the customer and easy to get along with. My stay here for the second time was worth the money spent; I'll book with this hotel whenever I'm in town. Sincerely Danny Messer

Staff was helpful, friendly. Room was clean. Excellent value for the price. My only (minor) complaint was that the shower head was really low for someone over 6' tall. But all in all, I would stay again for sure.

Best sleep I've had in a long time

They call it 2-star hotel. Not really. I've been to 2-stars in the area before. Laurel Park is much better than any of them. I stayed in Laurel for two days. They changed towels after day one. The towels were soft, leanens were really clean. The ac unit is away from the main room that makes lower noise and let you sleep well. The ac thermostat was actually working, not like other 2-star hotels. If Laurel is not at least 3-star then I don't know which one is.

Amazing stay, the service and friendliness from the owners is excellent. they are always available for anything you may need. In addition the hotel is well located on the side of the main road in Maggie Valley. I stayed in the place solo for 13 days doing my Fall photography in the Smoky Mountains and I felt like being at home

The only thing bad was the beds were very hard..but everything elese was ok..could have had restraunts closer..
