Nice hotel, but a good walk from Ao Nang Beach. A bit noisy and breakfast could be better.

Nice employees they always greeted us. Pool view rooms have an amazing view. It’s in a quiet area with really good restaurants near by. I would definitely stay again. By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Thailand.

Overall stay was good. The hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms were clean. Our view of the pool and mountains were a nice way to wake-up. We were able to chat with some of the employees who had checked-up on us. Room service ladies were always polite and nice too. The pool area was really nice and they played calming music most of the time. Around 2-5pm, they play loud house music, which could annoy you if you're not into kind of music. Initially, our stay did not start off good. Check-in was confusing. We rented 2 rooms, but the front desk seemed to think we had one and our room was not ready after the 3pm check-in time. We were there at 3:30pm. In addition, we were not provided a key for the lights in the room (there is a key for everything and one for just the electricity), nor pool cards. We were confused when we were asked for pool cards for pool towels. The AC also needed some maintenance, which took a few hours. It looked like the condenser needed water for one and a filter change on the other room. I would say about half the towels that we received were frayed. And the blue pool towels were very worn and had stains. All these issues were eventually addressed and the employees were friendly and professional about it. The issues were stressful at the beginning, but was otherwise we had a good multi-day stay at this chic hotel.

Really disappointing stay - from room and public areas cleanliness to staff showing no understanding or interest. Reception team called my room, waking me up at night to ask to keep it quiet… there was a room below having a party but no one from staff cared enough to check first where the noise is coming from. No apology provided. Lack of professionalism, dirt, bad smell… the list can continue but I think breakfast was the most disappointing. All hot items were always cold and overall their ‘buffet’ was unreasonably limited. You can notice that management is trying to save on anything.

Overall we really enjoyed this propert, it’s clean nice and the staff is helpful and friendly! The food wasn’t anything special but it was good enough. The location wasn’t great but still walking distance away from the shops. There was a few nights where they played super loud music downstairs late at night which was not very peaceful but overall we enjoyed are stay!

This hotel is amazing, the views onto the mountains are breathtaking. The hotel itself is modern, and clean with very accommodating staff. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Slightly out of the way of the main tourist road - which is a good thing. Perfectly walkable down to the beach or can use the bus. Good breakfast and mostly efficient staff. Manager is excellent.

Stay was great overall. The staff, especially Penn, were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed large and comfortable. We enjoyed the daily breakfast a lot - lots of delicious food options and fresh fruit plus the staff at the restaurant area were fantastic! The location was great and very convenient. We had an issue our second day with the water, it was coming out brown but it was fixed the same day, we lost power the 4th day but that was fixed within an hour. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay and would definitely return, beautiful interior, great shuttle and location, front desk booking lady is just great!! Breakfast was fine, something there for everyone and the pool area had a lovely view and was well equitable with sun beds! However just for future guest comfort we have listed our very minor niggles (all with the bathroom in our room): bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and swung into and hurt both of us by the time we finished our stay. There was a real damp drain smell when we arrived again we assumed caused by the lack of ventilation from the constantly closed door. And finally the bathroom plug wouldn’t stay open so every time we washed our hands or brushed teeth the residue would remain and we’d have to hold plug out manually. We were only there for one full day and were out most of the time which is why we didn’t bother to make a fuss. It might have been just our specific room.

Easy to find this hotel, because the big signage in front of the entrance. The Staff was very nice and attentive. Breakfast had valued more than you paid.Room space was big enough, comfortable, fresh air and clean. Everything new and excellent to stay.

Centra by Centara was a wonderful place to stay in Ao Nang Krabi. The location was close to the beach/shops. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle but if you need to walk it isnt a far distance. We chose the breakfast buffet which we enjoyed. There was lots of options and it made it worry free to start our day. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel, i had stayed at holiday inn express then moved to Centra. Centra was cleaner and better. The buffet is also much better. Great view from the pool.

The views from the rooms are absolutely beautiful, the pool is fantastic and the restaurant, although a little pricey on some items, has delicious food and drinks for very cheap. The location is also great! The 15-20 minute walk to the beach is lined with huge amounts of fun things to do, assuming you enjoy bars, and the beach itself is gorgeous. I will be coming back.

The staff was extremely attentive and helpful -in particular, the woman who organized tours was very accommodating and someone was available until 9pm every night. They also had a free shuttle running constantly into town, making it safer and easier to explore the area. They had an exceptionally good breakfast buffet that went way beyond the usual eggs and toast (it was more in league with a 5 star hotel). The resort had the warm, inviting atmosphere of a luxurious resort with enough guests to make it feel busy. One con -walls were thin and I could hear the guests next door very clearly when they moved in. Also the indoor-outdoor design of the hotel meant that only individual rooms were air-conditioned. I found this very off-putting initially, but I think it's typical of resorts in the area.

Nice basic hotel - just a bit far away from the beach area. Shuttle bus to beach was full when I tried to book onto it.

The pool and it’s view were beautiful.Clean room upon check in; however, when we requested extra pillow, we never received one. Rooms were not cleaned until very late in the day. It was 4pm and our room still had not been cleaned, towels changed or bed made etc. We even had to go and grab toilet paper off their cart in the hallway. Restaurant service was poor. We ordered a chicken avocado wrap and were served a chicken Caesar wrap. When we pointed out the error, their answer was that the avocado was not good that day so they changed our order without consulting us. Then they proceeded to still charge us for the avocado wrap. Dinner service was extremely slow! Took over 1hr for pizza and pasta meal order, and it wasn’t even fresh when served. That’s with the restaurant having only a handful of customers! Ok hotel to stay on a budget, but don’t expect any extras.

It's about a 20 minute walk from the beach, but they have a beach shuttle that runs several times a day, and otherwise Tuk Tuks are pretty affordable and it's a lovely walk as well if it's not too hot out. Centra is a pleasant hotel with a restaurant and a pool; we didn't eat at the restaurant so cannot comment, but the pool is nice. Rooms were medium-sized with comfy (though firm) beds. Everything was quite clean and new-looking, and the bathroom had good water pressure/temperature throughout. Service was wonderful, English was widely available though some patience is required (don't be a rude American -- it's amazing that folks speak English at all, so be kind if you are a native English speaker, or learn Thai instead). Our room had a view of a dirt parking lot behind the hotel, but we were never in our room long enough to care much. The rooms on the front side of the hotel have a better view facing some amazing limestone cliffs, but also a bit more road noise.
