I booked this location last minute as I was travelling for work.
I arrived late and past the office closing time, but they text me very clear simply instructions to access my key for my room
I was really pleasantly surprised When I arrived.
It's definitely an old school home and the rooms whilst they are clearly aged are immaculately kept. bathroom is impeccable and new but the beyond anything the rooms were super comfortable and has a real country home feel.
I woke up and it was below zero outside but you wouldn't have known inside the room. It was so warm inside without heating running which was my choice. Location is very good. Great coffee shop right on the premises

Beautiful room, cosy and welcoming. We had a wonderful weekend away in Mudgee, and our accommodation was perfect for proximity to the centre of town for cafes, pubs, boutiques and parks.

Really lovely hotel centrally based in Mudgee. We stayed in room 4 which was upstairs and a good size with a modern bathroom. The windows were well insulated so we didn’t hear any road noise overnight. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

If we had a better room it might have been a different experience. We had Room 6 “King Suite” - terrible position - window blocked as it looked onto cafe courtyard so room was dark and next to staircase so we heard everyone coming in and walking up the stairs. Really ruined the stay.

Nice little hotel in a convenient location. The reception is only open during designated check in, check out times. We were 15 minutes early and had to go away and come back because no one there. The rooms are nice and comfortable but the traffic noise was terrible. The trucks going past made it difficult to sleep. Definitely would not recommend a room facing the street.

Beautifully appointed room, modern bathroom and great shower! Unfortunately we were allocated room 6 which is right next to the cafe. It means the room is quite dark because the window faces a dark alcove next to the cafe and we were woken both mornings at 7,30 when the cafe music and guest chatter started. If you are staying downstairs request one of the back rooms to avoid this issue. Or if you are an early riser this may not matter.

We booked a king suite and it was pretty spacious. Kept the aesthetics of the building but it's still very modern. Very close to CBD as well.

The staff are all super friendly and clearly put their guests first. It was the busy Easter long weekend, so I think I may have booked the last available room. The room itself was a comfortable size, the bathroom was big which was great. There was a slight smell from the drains noticeable in the bathroom, but this seemed to be in other parts of Mudgee also. The room was also right next to the stairs/ reception and courtyard, so was a little noisy. Location was excellent and the courtyard café served great food. I would stay here again but not in the same room.

Good location, boutique hotel that has had lots of money spent in making an old place very nice, comfortable room, ordinary sleep as mattress wasn't fantastic.
The windows are double glazed and did the trick pretty well considering on a busy road.
Was told we could have breakfast on-site in a little cafe only to be told in the morning it doesn't open on Monday's (go figure)

Very quiet, clean and spacious hotel with friendly staff. Within walking distance to the town centre for access to restaurants otherwise there was a nice little cafe I open for breakfast each morning if our stay. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here in our next visit
