Very pleasant, good location, good amenities

it’s too noisy to go sleep at night time.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location to walk to everything we wanted to see. (We are joggers who are happy to walk 2-4 miles to visit a park). The view from our window was magnificent! Loved the cotton bathrobes and slippers!

The hotel staff were very helpful. The location couldn't be better. And the cleanliness was top.

They are claiming that hotel is 4stars but it's not. A lot of issues here. For example, thermostat is not working. The temperature Durning the day was above 30C. At morning with all night open windows 27.5C. when I told manager about temperature he told me that temperature set to what is required by Shanghai government and cannot be changed. Looks like Shanghai government start regulating what temperature I should use in my room. Complete bools..t. Most of hotels provided 2 free bottle of water. This hotel has smallest bottles I have seen. The carpet in passage dirty and has stains. No pool or gym.l

I liked the old heritage building and the neighborhood with the spectacular view on the skyline of Pudong.

I had a terrific day at this hotel for my first time in the city of Shanghai. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and was well equipped with most of the comforts of home. The housekeeping staff was very courteous and prompt in delivering what was needed for a comfortable stay. While the front desk staff could use a few lessons in customer service, they were efficient during check-in and checkout. This hotel is very nice for a mid-range hotel for the price I paid.

The location is about 2 blocks away from public transportation, walkable distance to the ” The bund - Huang Pung Jiang”, and primary shopping areas.

It was ok. Lot of building work so noisy. Did not mention it until checked in and in room

The hotel may look ordinary outside but the rooms are clean, large and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and the staff there are helpful enough to help you book a taxi when requested.

Room was beautiful and location was great. It’s very close to the train station.

Location was superb. A short walk and you get the best view of Pudong from across the river. Also the bridges an the old buildings nearby (e.g. the Post Office) were worth it. and the Japanese toilet!

We had a really good experience at the Tulip The staff were helpful. Polite. Nothing was too much. The chef was really great always smiling ready to cook your choice of food. Really fresh. Bed was very comfortable possibly one of the best l have ever slept on.
