Wonderful small boutique hotel in the center of nafplio old town. Superior double room with sea view had a small balcony that was very nice. Very clean, newly renovated and friendly staff. Great place for a couple of days, however not necessarily suitable if you look for a tranquil place as some rooms face onto the road (my sea view room did)

The staff was so hospitable and kind! They made our stay so amazing. Parking is easy- a big lot 5 minute walk from hotel. Clean, Quiet, and Safe. My family and I are looking forward to returning.

Lovely decor and furnishings. However, we found the room noisy - sound-proofing between rooms was poor. The air conditioning wasn't very effective and the breakfast was quite expensive and poor quality. We assumed it was included in the room rate. Front office staff were not especially friendly or welcoming.

Very nice hotel with a great view of the sea and within close walking distance of town. Was able to find street parking. The shower didn't have a door, so water got on the bathroom floor. Bed was comfy

We stayed at the Gambello hotel and really liked it. Simple but comfortable with a great location to visit downtown. Would recommend it!

Great hotel, Rooms clean and comfortable. Easily walkable to most of the towns restaurants and bars. Friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was great - we were told it was scaled down because of the current Covid situation. Even so still better than a lot of other places do during normal times.

The hotel was beautiful, spotless clean, excellent staff and perfect location. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Nafplio, plus the view from the room was fantastic.

The room was quaint and clean. The hostess was quite nice and even offered us some freshly baked Greek treats. Parking was pretty close.

The rooms are modern and super clean. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in while in Greece. Thanassi was awesome and the location was perfect. We liked it so much we booked another night!

Fantastic location walking distance from everything. Room was spotless and clean with modern amenities but with the old charm.

What a treat to have the manager take us to our room, throw open the curtains and shutters, and show us our view, including the orange trees right outside or window and the bay just off to the side.

Tastefully and artfully remodeled, with some beautiful touches in the rooms and the hallways. Clean and efficient. Great location- close to the action but quiet. Printed docs for us, lent us an umbrella. Highly recommend.

Our room at the Gambello was very nice and met all of our needs. Lovely view of the sea from our balcony. Pleasant and helpful staff. Very good breakfast with made to order eggs. Location was perfect for walking around the waterfront and surrounding areas.

Fascinating use of building. Huge room, our own balcony, beautiful bathroom. Staff at desk was really helpful. Definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful location just off the promanade. I had a lovely, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the water. Comfortable bed, clean, everything I needed. The only thing to be aware of is that noise from the street can be quite loud, and because it is a house with converted rooms rather than a hotel, you can hear other guests walking and talking. This didn’t bother me st all. I just turned on my white noise app on my phone or used earplugs and slept soundly.

Great location! The staff was excellent and adviced us very well. We felt at home. The place is brand new and the breakfast is of good quality and at a low. I really recommend the property and would definitely stay there again.

Gambello suites is ideally suited in old town Nafplio, right near the harbor. Like the rest of old town, it is an old Venetian-style building that has been renovated into a hotel. The shower is open, so water is not contained, but this is common in Greece. Also, sometimes the toilet would get stuck in "flush" mode, but pressing the button again easily fixed it. Our first night we arrived in the evening and were surprised that the hotel had reserved a parking space for us right outside the hotel! They also helped us bring up our baggage. It was great to have an electric kettle and free water in the room. Parking can be a bit dicey, but the free parking by the port is always an option. Breakfast in the morning was great; basic items were laid out buffet style, and then they also prepared us eggs to order every morning!
