The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the train station. It’s in a business/residential area. Across the street is a 24 hour Family Mart convenience store. Right by the hotel is a chain restaurant. The room is not big but comfortable.

The hotel is about 3-4 blocks up north from the main area of Sannomiya Station. Also the same distance from Shin-Kobe Station. My average price per night was only about 4,000 yen; a pretty good price I think. I don't believe the staff at check-in gave me any details about my stay; that could have helped because I was confused about the breakfast arrangement with the Matsuya restaurant next door. My request was honored that I get a room in the corner; it was nice and quiet. If I were in the middle and near the elevators, I would have probably needed earplugs while sleeping. I wish the bathroom sink were a bit bigger. Water was always falling on the floor, which then needed to be wiped up. It's only about a 7-minute walk to the closest supermarket, Asahiya. Get your cheap food and supplies there!

Great hotel, 10 minute walk from sannomiya station so well located. Great facilities and close to a few convenience stores and take out. Would recommend if on a budget but want a decent hotel.

it is not that far from the kobe sannomiya station (10-15 min walk) and it is near to some cultural sites, like the former foreigners' residence/consulate area. the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Near the train station. Property is still new so very clean. Rooms are very modern and up to date. Rooms are spacious. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

The hotel is not far to the two big terminal Shinkobe station and Sannomiya station. The facility is brand new and equipped with really good new interiors. They shared the Matsuya as breakfast restaurant, the taste was normal. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you prefer a new and clean hotel.

Quick over night stay in Kobe/ Osaka Japan. Room was average size for most hotels in Japan and was comfortable, clean and well kept. Would stay again on next visit to Kobe / Osaka

The Unizo Inn was convenient to the Shin Kobe station. There are many restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance. The room was very very small but I guess that is normal in Japan. I had accidentally booked a smoking room but they kindly and promptly changed me to a non-smoking room.
