Just had an overnight stay here after a late flight in. Reception staff organised a late check in and our room key was ready when we arrived late at night. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Very nice location right on the water

The furniture was in disrepair, the shower had cracks, a missing handle and was leaking. Unfortunately due to dietaries the inclusive breakfast was not an option for me. However, the staff were friendly and the team left a lovely note in the room. - it just didn’t match my expectations from the photos and reviews

Old and tired motel. Very basic.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well appointed. Bread, juice, condiments, tea and coffee, milk, bread spreads and cereals were supplied and generously so.

The evening meal was very good

A good spot for exploring the Tamar region. Room was comfortable and staff nice. We appreciated the hearty portions and quick service at the bistro, also the vegan options (standard pub food). It was a bit noisy until the pub etc closed but that is understandable.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great views from the room. Excellent value for a budget room. Close to Seahorse and Platypus worlds. A walk to Great food.

This was a nice unit with a wonderful view. We enjoyed dining at the restaurant.

Situated in a lovely spot

We had reasonable expectations despite the moderate price going by many quite positive reviews. When we arrived we saw the what looked to be abandoned motel on the road behind the hotel. There was a long closed drive-in bottle shop in front, large weeds growing in the edge of the empty car park. We went down to the hotel below and confirmed that this indeed was what we booked. Our room opened in a dark and gloomy passageway with no outside lights working. There was a sort of garden area full of weeds apart from several large man ferns. On entering our room we were met with an awful stale smell probably from the carpet that needed at least a steam clean. The room had been cleaned reasonably well but everything was in need of refurbishment. There was wifi but we couldn't find the password anywhere. The bathroom was ok but very old. The worst part was suffering the awfully smell in the room, even with a window left open. A very disappointing stay on our Tassie holidays. We did eat in the hotel as we arrived about 6.40 and probably our only option. To be fair the meals were fine, typical pub fare.

Good place to stay, with nice views. Bar and dining on site. Meal was good, staff helpful. Close to Platypus and Seahorse World, but great attractions. Bed comfortable and bathroom good spec.

Bloody hilly & stairs from motel to hotel - a little bit untidy with small deposits of rubbish here and there - unhinged door in room - friendly obliging staff - good size room and bathroom - we enjoyed the stay & meal in hotel - thank you

Nice setting and restuarant was nice. Room had nice amenities but had a very musty smell.

Julie was a very attentive host. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Food arrived in a timely manner. Staff were knowledgable about menu choices and drinks options. They were very helpful - the room decor is dated but clean. No microwave in the room, but kettle and good sized fridge were great

The view was awesome, and it was easy to travel to any area in Tasmania using Beauty Point as our base. Loved the whole exprience 🤗

It has a beautiful lake view

It is an older property that could do with an upgrade. The position and view was good with parking at the door. Simple breakfast provided and bed comfortable. Meal at hotel next door was great with live entertainment on Australia Day.

Rooms were comfortable and had all you need for a short stay. Wonderful views and great pub meals next door.

Was a great place to stay, restaurant and food was really nice, and staff were very efficient and pleasant. Will return here again . Walking distance to seahorse world .
