Brilliant stay. Great location on a quiet street, 5 minutes walk to town center and the beach, easy parking.
Room is tidy and clean, high quality supplies, we like the cookies provided.
Breakfast services on time, high quality of everything, I’m a bit fussy about meat, their bacon is easily the best I had in hotel.
In fact, the whole experience is the best ever I had with Hotel.com. Definitely will be back again.

I stayed in Filey for bird migration week - many activities going on. Athol is well placed for train, bus, shops, beach, country park. Very comfortable and welcoming.

Sam and Diane go that extra yard for their guests. We recently stopped for the Steampunk Festival....early breakfast? Of course. Any chance of a later checkout? Certainly. They even let the four of us use the dining room for a take away Chinese. Would certainly recommend for couples or families

We had a super room - Victoria - with a huge bay window, large comfy bed, and a super hot shower. Lots of nice little extra touches to make you feel very welcome

Charming B&B. Spotlessly clean, immaculate and spacious room. Thoughtful little extras in the room. Wonderful hosts and lovely breakfast including fresh eggs with double yolks! My husband is fussy about poached eggs and they were in his words: perfect! The location is spot on too. Walkable to the town, seafront and lovely local park. We will be back.

Cannot rate this Guest House enough. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The family room is very cosy and exceptionally clean. Nice comfortable beds, fluffy towels and plenty of storage for clothes. Nice little touches such as 'proper' hand wash (not a silly tiny piece of soap), ear plugs and bottled water for the kettle were very appreciative. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had. Cereal, fruit and juice were on offer while you waited for your full English which was not only tasty but hot. I must again mention the cleanliness of the whole guest house, the owners obviously work hard to keep it up to a high standard. Any future visits to Filey, we will definitely book Athol Guest House

We were delighted with our stay at Athol House. We stayed in the family room with our two grandaughters. Sam and Diane were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was superb with good quality ingredients. The whole house was spotless and comfortable. They seemed to have thought of everything even down to books for the children to look at. I honestly cannot find anything to criticise, only praise.

Great guest house close to the town centre and sea front. The only downside for us was that we could not stay longer because of work but we will definitely be back.
