This is a must stay! The room had everything you could thing of to make you feel welcomed! The communication from the owner was amazing.

Thank you for your recommendations- they were all spot on and gave us an opportunity to have multiple adventures. We had never been to a Celtic festival and it was intriguing. What an amazing group of people that continue celebrating the traditions of the Celtic people. Can’t wait to make Monroe one of our top long weekend adventures. Next time my husband can bring his clubs so I can spend more time in the antique shops- going down memory lane. We’ll be sure to book your carriage house for our stay! Not goodbye, but see you soon when we return for a time of recharging and adventure. John - if you look up ‘super host’ in the dictionary- there your picture and description would be. Everything we needed you provided. I loved sitting in the back garden each morning sipping my Keurig Community Coffee listening to the birds and being still. It is evident that you have the gift of hospitality and I’m so happy we got to experience it in action. You are right where you need to be- you make people feel like welcome guests - giving them a place to unplug from the ‘rush’ of life. Thank you. The only thing I did not like about our time here was having to leave on Sunday morning. You will not be sorry if you stay at the John Thomas in Monroe.

Will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at the John Thomas house over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful inside and out and is very well decorated. It was a block away from town and we were sent to multiple places to try and go eat and shop. We will definitely be staying again.

This place was as beautiful as it was comfortable. I absolutely loved it. If I'm in the area in the future, I will definitely check on availability to stay here again!

The property is a great location and is so beautiful! The accommodations are well designed and executed! The host is also amazing and has thought of every detail for the rooms :)

This is an extremely nice bed and breakfast, although they do not serve breakfast. Snacks, coffee, tea, cold drinks and water are free of charge. Wi-Fi is also free. The rooms are comfortable, clean and extremely well decorated. Staying here was truly a pleasure.

Our stay at the John Thomas B&B was fantastic. Very quiet and comfortable, and communication with the host was clear and timely. The home and gardens are beautiful, and helped add to our rest and relaxation. I strongly recommend staying at the John Thomas B&B!

The location has a small separate building called the Carriage House where we stayed. A delightful space. Clean, comfortable and just a pleasure.

We had an amazing stay!!! Everything was perfect. John was so helpful with anything we needed whether reservations, dinner, local pubs, and his knowledge and history of not only his property but everything around. We would recommend a stay here anytime. We will be back.

JT’s hospitality was awesome. The room is very comfortable with every essential needed. The location is very convenient to downtown with bars and restaurants very close. I am looking forward to my next business trip through town.

Easy to get to and from. Convenient to all areas in Monroe & West Monroe for our activities. Next trip we will take more time and avail ourselves to the Trenton shopping district and enjoy ourselves more.

The host was extremely hospitable and has such a focus on fine detail. It made for a luxurious and relaxing stay. Did not want to leave the Bed and Breakfast. We will be back.

I stayed in the carriage house, which had everything I needed: a mini fridge, good water pressure, a comfortable bed, and Netflix, and closet space. Outside was a small patio with chairs and a table. JT’s has, for me, a New Orleans vibe, with its brick walkway to the back, light fixtures inside. Only a short walk to Antique Alley, where I spent some time browsing and enjoying a couple of pastry shops. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

I loved the atmosphere and quaint little space. So perfect and sweet.

An exquisite gem...interior design is lovely with a creative twist on traditional styles. The owner/host was friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This was by far the most beautiful bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in...... The host John was so awesome and super helpful helping us find things to do during our stay. If we could give him and his beautiful home 10 stars we would.... The room was gorgeous.

This is a beautiful place to stay! John is amazing and makes you feel completely at home. He has thought of every detail. Easy walk to downtown West Monroe which has lots of shops and eating places. Love this place and we will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful stay while I visited my daughter, now working at ULM. Cozy room including many amenities, and a friendly proprietor who gave helpful recommendations for the area. Quiet street, but convenient to walk to shopping and restaurants. I will return on my next visit to Monroe.
