Excellent place to stay close to the airport - just 15 minutes away by car. We stayed here on our first and last night in Iceland. Be sure to visit the lighthouse!

We had an amazing stay at the Lighthouse Hotel. The room was large and comfortable for three of us. The restaurant was lovely and they had a great breakfast that was included in our stay. They knocked on our doors in the evening when we could see the northern lights. They even made us sandwiches when we had to leave early before the breakfast buffet opened. We would most definitely stay here again.

We were able to see the northern light during our stay and it was close to the airport. But the bathroom smell was bad and the breakfast was not great.

We chose the lighthouse because we needed to stay near the airport and we retained our hire car. This place was great, the location near the coast is lovely for an evening walk and beats standard airport hotels by miles. Our room was large and comfortable, check-in was friendly and breakfast was great. Great value for money, we'll stay here again.

We spent our last night here in Iceland before leaving from KEV. For us it was the perfect choice, really loved the Hotel. One of the best in the past years.

This is in a nice country setting in view of the Ocean and the Garður Old Lighthouse. It is close to the Röstin Restaurant - The Old Lighthouse Café which also house a museum. It is about a 20 minuite drive to the Keflavic Airport and about 15 minuites to downtown Keflavic which offers a good variety of resturants. There are little shops and a nice seafront there also. The hotel is staffed 24 hours which was really nice since qite a few in Iceland are not. The loby is very nice with plenty of seating and the staff couldn't be any nicer. The place is very clean and welcoming. The room has all wooden walls and ceilings with a hard surface on the bathroom walls. The floors are laminite plank and very clean. There are outlets with USB charging and a small refrigerator. The windows open up for fresh air and have shears and block out shades for darkening the room. The TV ic a larger screen LG and has plenty of choices. The bathroom has a Round glass corner shower with a handheld and a rain head shower. The water is EXREAMLY HOT so be careful. The breakfast is included and there is a good selection which changes a bit everyday but always has fruit, meats, eggs and breads. I can't say anything but good about this place and I highly recomend it.

We had 1 day in Iceland and had chosen this property as our 1 night. It was such a beautiful area. The beds were very comfortable, the room was beautiful and the staff was so kind and friendly.

This hotel was so cute and very comfortable. I had a nice view, a good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I slept like a baby.

Stayed one night prior to flying out. Great location very near airport but quiet, very secluded. Beautiful view of lighthouse and ocean. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. We left too early to try the breakfast (wish it opened before 0730) but they supplied a take away breakfast of sandwiches and fruit. Because it is near airport there was some noise very early of people leaving.

We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here, in mid-August 2024. Being Canadian we loved the northern lodge vibe at this place. Parking is right outside the front door and super convenient. No stairways or elevators to deal with, which we appreciated a lot. From rooms on the North-facing side, the ocean and mountains are visible through large windows that actually open. The included breakfast had great variety and was a perfect way to get started for the day. Everyone working here is friendly and helpful, with a special shout-out to Matta at the front desk. We didn’t bring a European wall plug with USB to charge our devices and she used her personal cord to help us out by charging things at the front desk. We had dinner twice at the on-site restaurant, EOs Table, and loved it. Robert, the chef, has obvious passion and talent for what he does. The chicken sandwish (not a typo) was amazing, for example. We stayed 3 nights and would stay again in a heartbeat. The only enhancement we might suggest is to have USB charging available in the rooms but it was our oversight to assume it would be there, and we should have brought the correct adapter.

We arrived late and all the restaurants nearby were closed. Since we were hungry and unable to get food anywhere, the receptionist at the front desk made us sandwiches. It was a wonderful surprise, and truly a very kind act.

Very close to the airport for an early morning flight, but also located in a very quiet and beautiful area on the coast.

Stayed last night on ring road trip. Very nice place with beautiful views of ocean and lighthouse etc. very comfortable rooms. Close to airport and convenient for early departure out of KEF. Only issue is that it is so far away from city of Reykjavik. Once you reach the hotel, you are not going back into the city for dinner.

This place is beyond nice. Super cool rooms and an outstanding view from any room. We stayed the night before our a.m. flight and it was perfect. You don’t hear planes flying overhead or any sort of disruption, it is a very serene atmosphere.

Good location near Keflavík airport. We enjoyed walking to the lighthouse and nearby museum. Dinner and breakfast very good.

Absolutely stunning location. Close to the airport. Super friendly staff. An absolute hidden gem! Breakfast was fantastic as well. We had a minor hiccup at the end of our stay and the management team was super responsive and helped us out right away. Can’t say enough good things, would stay again 10/10

Very nice hotel in a little tucked area yet close to the airport. Quiet, rooms are a good size, beds are comfortable and the place is kept well and clean. They have complimentary breakfast with a good spread of hot and cold choices which were all good. Will not hesitate to come back if we are back in Iceland

This was the perfect location for our 24 hour stopover in Iceland. Convenient and close to the airport, good location to drive from for many activities. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early so we could make the most of our time on the island. We had an early flight out prior to breakfast being available and they were so gracious to pack us a breakfast to go. Would stay here again for sure!
