Very nice room, good shower.

I travel quite a bit, and this was by far the WORSE hotel experience I have ever had. After arriving exhausted, I had to wait and then say "hello" to be able to get someone to help me at front desk. The lady had me fill out a form that I have never had to do at any hotel. One of the first things it stated was that they do not give full refunds but possibly some kind of discount which raised a red flag for me. Got into the room just to find bed sheets full of hair and debris. Completely disgusted, I went downstairs to ask for clean sheets, which I then frustratingly had to place on the bed myself and STILL found hair on. Needed some ice and found the ice machine was out of order. There was carpeting on the wall which had yellow stains on it. Nightstand on my side of the bed had no lighting whatsoever and outlet was too far to be able to charge and use my phone at the same time. There were missing light bulbs above bathroom sink and bulbs that didn't work at all. Fridge(which was sitting on the floor) and microwave were both in the closet. Lastly, TV remote volume only worked when I stood up from the bed. Found out this was a very big house that was converted into a "hotel". Heed the warning, folks. Don't believe whatever "good" reviews you might read. They are all BS. This place, in my opinion, does not meet the minimum standards expected in a hotel, and I am baffled as to how they are even in business

Facility was dated and not kept up. No table in room. Had to request hangers for the closet. Hard to raise staff at desk.

Great customer service. The room was nice and comfy and it had the needed essentials to make the stay enjoyable.

There were hairs and glitter in both of our beds. The tv didn’t work a bit. Asked for new sheets and mentioned the tv, whoever was working came in to fix the tv and basically fought the whole time. they upgraded our room, the tv had one button that worked, and there were still hairs in the tub and everywhere.

The room was not clean, hairs in the bed, garbage under furniture, dusty and the toilet and tub were not clean!

Place needs a remodel carpet was nasty and looks like decades old. Would be a nice place if they at lrast put sone hard surface floors..also save some energy from the standing ac units. Very stufyy

The room was nice but I don’t recommend paying the extra money for breakfast they don’t have near enough to feed everyone and there was no staff around to ask for help or get more. They ran out of coffee very early and there was no one to make more. I rang the buzzer at the front desk but no one ever came to see what I needed. We ran out of toilet paper and again no one around to get more for us.

I am beyond disappointed that we drove out of our way to stay there since breakfast was included. The only thing they had was 1/4 of stale hash browns, oranges and wheat bread! NO CEREAL OR EGGS OR YOGURT! When I asked the girl at the front desk for something she did not even ask and left us standing for 20 minutes and brought out one small scrambled egg omelet for 2 people. She did not even ask what we wanted. That consumption of time and irritation set us back 40 minutes of our trail day to Zion Park. I forgot to mention she took 15-20 minuted to answer the repeated bell ring at the front desk. I was not offered a credit and I would not go back!

We had to make a last minute quick trip to southern Utah. We only needed room for one night. As luck would have it, there was a baseball tournament going on and all rooms were booked except for a few that wanted $300 or more. This hotel was approximately 35 miles out of St. George but under $100. We enjoyed our stay and was surprised to find it also included a hot breakfast. We looking forward to staying again when we have more time to explore the area and zions.

Cleanliness was lacking! The shower drain was full of hair, the bathroom floor had public hair and the bedroom had an actual pileof poop (I think cat poop) on it. We were also charged $5 USD just for paying for our room with credit card. Breakfast was to be included, no one informed us it ended at 9am.

The Grand Canyon Family Suite was huge! Out family slept in it comfortably.

One of the creepiest hotel I have been to, I don't recommend it. High walls surrounding the hotel that look like prison walls blocking the view on the beautiful landscape. You arrive through the back of the building (see photo) in the parking and there is no sign to find the entrance/reception area. I arrived at night at about 6pm and I thought the place was closed as there was no light lighting up the entrance and no sign indicating where the reception area was. The room was spacious but the carpet had an old dirty chewing gum on it. I asked the reception for a gesture and although they told me I was not the 1st person to complain about the carpet, the owner did not want to do any gesture about it. Considering how cheap these small carpets are or the price of dry cleaning, the owner clearly does not care about customers! Dressing with no hangers.... The plus was that the room had a microwave and a fridge. I booked this place as I was going to visit Zion NP but I don't recommend it as it is about 1h drive from Zion NP. You are better off booking a place by the entrance of the park! Overall this place reminded me of the movie the "Shining' so pretty creepy vibes although the staff was nice enough considering.

My stay was terrible. Carpet is dirty. Room was freezing and took several hours to heat room. Bath towels were super small. No hair dryer. No breakfast at all as promised. Hotel charged me $5 extra because I paid with a credit card.

Loved our stay here. Would definitely stay again.

The room that we stayed in had a clogged sink, a mop was standing close to the door. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom.

Few things could have been cleaner. Gum stuck on the night stand , not enough towels in room-had to ask for more We were there for two days

I entered a hotel search for east gate of Zion National park and it was listed as about 16 miles away. In reality was almost 50 miles away! Never would've booked it if i knew that! Our original room was dirty, carpet old and very stained and not even vacuumed. Fridge was dirty and toilet seat had holes in it making it unsanitary. Window screens were broken so if opened windows, insects could come in... We were moved to another rm, cleaner but same issue with toilet and screens. Would never stay again.

Unique property that has transitioned to current hotel. clean, easy parking, a little off the main highway, great breakfast, large comfortable rooms

The hotel was half an hour from Zion, so not too close, but not too far either. Hotels in Springdale were full, so this hotel was a good second option.

Lots of space in the room and quiet hotel. The only problem we had there was that the AC wasn’t working and when I called them to turn that on, they gave me a portable fan. The whole night was super hot inside.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We felt safe. the room was amazing and comfortable.. The breakfast they served was hands down the best we ever had. It's a little out of the way in a small town but that added to the charm. If you want a great experience and something different, go an enjoy this.

One bed had bedbugs. We told staff and they moved us to another room but that room was very dirty. There was animal poop on the floor. Lots of stains and dust throughout the room. Didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the beds.

I think the front entrance could use a little tlc but everything else was very nice

Dirty rooms with really bad vibes.

Room requires updating, light bulbs missing from bathroom lighting, very difficult to open key card open door (need batteries?), no decaf coffee, limited towels in room. The only place to eat is a pizza parlor a mile away, an hour away from Zion Park.

It's a homely environment.

Good comfortable accommodations, staff very nice, interesting history.

Beautiful property that is built like a castle with one foot thick walls and solid core doors. Lots of history here. Guarantee it will be a memorable stay.

Historical place with large rooms and common areas, very good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff!
