Short sweet but nice experience

A nice very clean hotel. It was very close to several nice restaurants and within walking distance of a beautiful park.

When we first arrived, the place seemed nice. Limited area for pet relief. We traveled with our 10lb dog and were given a pet friendly room that did have carpet. We arrived in the early evening and by 6am the next morning our dog was waking up and scratching. By 8am we noticed she was covered in hives. From head to toe. We called our vet and were instructed to give her Benadryl. We gave her the proper dose at about 9:30am. We were out and about all day. She was sleepy from the meds, but her itchiness was all but gone and she was in good spirits all day. We came back to the room at about 2:30pm and within 15 minutes her body was once again covered in hives. At this point we realized we couldn’t stay for the second night. We found a new hotel, the Sunseeker and packed our belongings. We showed the two women who were working at the front desk our dog and even they were horrified at how she looked. She had a giant hive on her forehead and the rest of the hives covered her whole back and even tail. We informed them we were leaving and staying somewhere else. Once we got home we contacted Expedia as we made our reservation through them. Expedia was very sympathetic and attempted to collect a partial refund. We just got word that the hotel will not issue a refund for the one night we didn’t stay. Since getting home our dog has had to go to the vet to help with her allergic reaction. Travelers with pets beware.

Excellent, spacious room. The front desk agents were also very nice and helpful. Hot breakfast was good and there were free bottles of water at the front desk. I would highly recommend this location.

Very pricey for the "water view" that consisted of a glimpse between buildings and over an expanse of parking lots.

The staff is amicable and professional. The property is fresh, clean, and very nice. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again in the near future!

Girl at desk would not try to get us a room on a higher floor. She said that our rate through a third party disqualified us for an upgrade to a higher floor. Never heard of that. Also, we were told because of limited parking we might have to valet park at 30.00 if there were no parking spaces left. We did not have to because we got the last parking space in the lot!

I booked on Travelocity. I selected and payed extra for an Executive Suite with a King bed with Harbor view. Upon check-in, I received an ADA room with a view of the parking lot. I complained and was downgraded further to a regular room - not executive suite. I did not to a different Hotel becuase it was late. However, as a customer i expect my reservation to be honored and receive the tupe of services i payed for. I will not be staying here again.

Only problem we had during our stay was lack of parking.

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the Charlotte Harbor with beautiful view walking/biking trails and parks hotel is very clean and all the staff was very friendly and professional breakfast buffet was better than expected price seamed a bit high but worth it

We loved th location of this hotel and the room was comfortable and very clean. Best shower head ever...lots of water pressure.
