Bed wasn't made very well, looked like someone had already slept there., no soap in the bathroom, and garbage can had no liner

The cabin is pretty cute and well-equipped considering how small it is! Great shower and comfortable bed. I was really bummed that there was no Internet and I suspect this is not unusual. I had trouble figuring out how to work the TV and I called the number I had and left a message but never got a call back. Didn’t like the idea there was no one available to help. Guess it wasn’t considered an emergency!

This place has great potential, but it unfortunately doesn't live up to it. First of all, we didn't feel welcomed. We were arriving in the area early and Krissy was supposed to text us when our cabin was ready, but she never did. Upon our arrival, we had forgotten the self-check-in instructions and dared to ring the doorbell. A visibly infuriated Krissy, barely masking it under a forced smile, cracked open the front office door to remind us that we needed not to bother her. We weren't familiar at all with the area and would've needed some pointers, but the door closed as fast as it had opened. First disappointment, how close to the road the cabins were. Second disappointment, the pool was closed. We had chosen the farthest cabin for privacy, but little did we know that this would also mean no Wi-Fi. Well, one of the three networks was reaching on and off, but the password didn't work. When I texted Krissy to ask if this was normal, she answered hours later: "No." That's when we started looking for another place to spend our second night. We realized just how much of a good idea that was after spending a night barely sleeping. The bed wasn't particularly comfy, which is to be expected, but it was most of all sloping. We spent the night rolling down and waking each other up. Having been awake since 3AM, we left very early and left a message explaining our bad experience. We didn't receive as much as an apology message, let alone a refund, not even for our second night.

We really enjoyed our stay here!! The cabin was cute, cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We loved the streamside location. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful little cottage. With fridge hot plate coffee maker. A huge river and waterfall directly in front. Will def book again

The renovated interior of this cute cabin was a most welcomed surprise. Great a/c, fridge/freezer, clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi in that whole area northern Vermont was not stable. Had I known that I would have downloaded ( hiking trails) maps etc beforehand. Enjoyed my two days there, especially my morning tea on the cabin porch.
