Our recent visit to the Acadia Bay Inn on our annual Anniversary trip was an awesome experience! Matt and Nicole were such great hosts! The breakfasts were 5 star! I can’t say enough about how relaxing and enjoyable our stay was, we even had wonderful weather! Driving up to the Inn and seeing my name on the welcome sign was such a nice touch! It is close enough to drive to Acadia Park, Bar Harbor, and Cadillac Summit, but was always wonderful to come back to out quiet, beautiful room! Thank you all so much!

Matt and Nicole were the perfect hosts, providing a fantastic full breakfast every morning and great travel and sightseeing advice. The property is beautifully kept with breathtaking views overlooking Acadia Bay and Cadillac mountain. The perfect “down east Maine” getaway! And we feel as if we now have two friends we didn’t have before. The best!

We had a fantastic stay at Acadia Bay Inn. It’s a gorgeous old home, built in the 1880’s. The period décor is in keeping with the original personality of the home. The view from the veranda was spectacular. Our bedroom was perfect, but we spent most of our time at the inn on the veranda. Coffee and breakfast in the mornings and wine in the afternoons and evenings. Nicole and Matt are super hosts. They are very engaging and enjoyable to be around. Matt is a great source of area information and history. Nicole created lovely breakfasts that were as delicious as they were beautiful. We enjoyed them each morning on the veranda soaking in the view of the bay. We are hoping for a return to Acadia Bay Inn with friends and family.

This property was is in a great location with great views . The breakfast was amazing every morning. Nicole and matt had lot of information to share about the area.It was a excellent experience.

The end is beautiful, the views are amazing, in our room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. We had a gourmet cooked breakfast every morning on the porch overlooking the water. He innkeepers are very nice people and go out of their way to accommodate everyone. I have a gluten allergy and my breakfast was gluten-free every morning. The end is far enough away from Bar Harbor to get away from the hustle and bustle and close enough to be a part of it if you choose. We would definitely stay here again. This is quite the private getaway.

Just finished our stay at Acadia Bay Inn and it was hard to leave. The view could not have been more spectacular and the wonderful breakfast that was served outside was delicious each and every day. Nicole and Matt were both amazing and provided some suggestions for our stay all of which turned out to be great. I would highly recommend anyone stay here weather you plan on spending some time in Acadia, Bar Harbor, or a little bit of both.

We had a very small room, yet I think we paid almost the same price as others did for larger rooms with Bay views. Food and staff were excellent.

Beautiful setting. Comfortable, quiet room. Hosts are attentive yet unintrusive, and offer useful insight about area activities. Breakfast was delightful. Great experience.

This was such an unexpected gem! Hands down the most beautiful, tranquil place in the area. Matt and Nicole were amazing hosts.The inn has 7 rooms and yet was incredibly quiet. Our room was the smallest (we booked late and luckily got the last room in the inn.)Despite being the smallest, it was still spacious and had a nice shared patio that looked out over the front side of the inn. Most of the other rooms look out over the water and have spectacular views of Cadillac mountain, Frenchman Bay, sailboats and calm water. The sunsets were spectacular. We have traveled all over the world but this was such a wonderful slice of heaven. The breakfasts were outstanding - much heartier than the usual B&B fare. We had a mushroom sausage egg strata the first day, wuth french pressed coffee. The next morning was scrambled eggs, ham and a delicious potato casserole. Our third morning was lemon ricotta pancakes with a homemade wild blueberry sauce. Allwere delicious. This was our base and we spent our time in the park for hiking, Bar Harbor for lunch and shopping, Ellsworth and Trenton for evening dining. Enjoy! You won’t be sorry.

Great romantic getaway with great view and attentive hosts

This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it was great! The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The view off the back porch is amazing and is really peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and enjoyable (we got to eat on the porch). It was clean and comfortable. Located in more of a rural area so really great for relaxing but not a lot of great food options in close proximity. We would stay again.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay with Nicole and Matt! The property has access to a gorgeous view of the islands and the bay, which you can access any time during your stay, as well as breakfast every morning. Speaking of which, Nicole's breakfast is an absolute treat. Matt is very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and itinerary if you need it. The inn is about 30 minute drive from Mt. Desert Island and 20 minute from Bar Harbor. It provides the perfect relief from crowds if you're looking for a more quiet stay. I would definitely stay there again in the future!

The most beautiful view! Super nice place!

It was absolutely perfect. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful and guided us in finding perfect outings and good food. We will be back. This place is a joy!

Very welcoming couple who go out of their way to make the sojourn pleasant

The property was incredible and the owners were very friendly and very accommodating. We stayed two nights and had breakfast each morning. It was wonderful. There is only one thing I would tell everyone is that the shower water is not Hot enough for me but my husband said he was good with it. Other than that is was a very pleasant stay! Thanks Todd and Angie you have a beautiful place!

The setting was serene and the views were breathtaking. To sit on our balcony at night and see the Milky Way directly overhead was a wonderful experience ... and it was topped off with a shooting star! The proprietors, Angie and Todd, couldn't have been more accommodating. Above and beyond ... we had to be on the road early to head back home, and we found breakfast bags and coffee cups at our door before we even got up! Quite a surprise and a wonderful treat! Todd is quite the cook! I can sum it up by saying that we were treated like royalty and welcomed as friends. I would love to go back!
