Really crappy customer service, had to wait for an hour for someone to check us in then they called and said to grab a key and they would be there the next day. Exhaust fan doesnt work in the cleaning hut, could definitely use some decent upgrades to the place and to the ownership

The Mariner’s Cove was better than I had expected as the room was plenty big as well as the double sink bathroom. The shower and sink basin drains worked. The Queen sized beds were very comfortable and the mini frig worked great. There was one numbered parking spot just for my room. The parking area is small so don’t know where a boat would park. There are other amenities on the property that I saw but had no time to inquire about. The location is 4 minutes to Westport charter basin which was my top concern. I will book there again, Thanks Mariner’s Cove for an enjoyable stay!

The outside is cute, but appears a bit rundown, which made me nervous for the rooms- but the rooms are great! Very updated, clean, and just enough amenities to make your stay perfect! I will definitely stay here again.

Mariners Cove was in the perfect location for us. It was a short drive to the beaches, within walking distance to the lighthouse and easy to find.

I love the firepit and covered gazebo and the outside picnic tables. I love the old-time layout where we can drive up to the door of the room.

I stayed in room 10. All in all pretty quiet. Although the walls are thin.
Room is very nice. Full mini kitchenette with the cutest stove I have ever seen. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. You can walk to eateries, a bar, espresso shack and grocery store. The State Park and Westport light house are also walking distance. walking The neighborhood is residential for the most part. I've been coming to Westport for over 30 years. I love it here.

We stayed one night in the hotel. The room is clean, well equipped, and spacious. Good sound insulation. Quiet neighborhood. Free EV charging station across the street (Thank you, Riley Jackson Real Estate!).

The person checking us in did not speak English. She messed up the charge on our room when we added a extra night. They charged a pet fee for my service dog. The rooms tv would not change channels even after we and the manager tried to trouble shoot it. The shower drain was not covered completely leaving a metal plate in the middle of the shower open and not a small drain as normal. Duck tape trying to hold the molding on around the shower. The floors were sandy. We have stayed there before the new management took over. It was great. Now we will never rebook at Mariners Cove.

We had high hopes for this little property but our hopes were soon dashed. We drove across the state to stay at this motel and because we didnt arrive before 6 pm they automatically charged us even though we were going to pay when we arrived. (Strike 1) We attempted to enter our room and the door was falling off the hinges. (Strike 2) Then, as we were sitting and relaxing, pill bugs were running all around the floor. You had to watch it if you had to use the restroom at night. You might step on the bugs. The best part of our stay was the bed. It was extremely comfortable. Oh, and the shower head had tons of settings. Unfortunately it's not a place we'll ever stay at again.

Although the hotel was advertised as having 24 hour reception, we arrived at 9.30 and there was no one there. I had to call a number (very expensive because I have a German phone) and get a room number, which was very hard to find in the dark.
The walls are paper thin and there appears to be no air conditioning.
There was no plug either for the sink or for the bathtub and at the reception the next morning they told me (in all seriousness) that I should shove a towel in the drain.
