Sea Horse always delivers. Take advantage of any sales they may offer, worth the few extra bucks for the view.

This spacious and clean room is in an excellent location (6) with a great view of the pier. There was no AC but the fans did a good job of keeping the room cool. We stayed three nights and it was a great experience. We will be back next year.

We love Sea Horse Resort! The view is amazing and the accommodations are very nice. We love that it is close to restaurants and that it is pet friendly. We always have a great stay!

Excellent location near the beach. The room was a little tight with a very tiny shower and the outside lights come into the room even with the shades drawn. Very comfortable bed and lots of beach accessories if you want to go hang out by thw water.

I was expecting room to be small and it exceeding my expectation. The 2 chairs in the tv area are in need of being replaced. The shower is on one side of bed while the toilet and sink are on the other side.
The room was clean and comfortable. The small patio was fun being right across the street from the beach. The towels, umbrella, and beach chair were really a plus.

The kitchen is great to have. The closeness to the ocean and the pier! The friendly staff and in hot summer daytime, it was wonderful to have the AC. The only thing negative was the noise from other units, or voices outside in the hallway.

Sea Horse is our favorite place to stay in San Clemente. Unfortunately it seems to be everyone's favorite place to stay. Availability is limited on short notice. Every room we've stayed is is worth staying in again. Always clean, well equipped and has a view of either ocean or pier or both. Great location and walking distance to downtown and lots of restaurants. Very nice farmers market on Sunday mornings. Staff is kind, courteous and efficient.

Room was perfect, everything we had hoped for. Could not be a better view, and had everything we needed. Super clean and appreciated the use of the beach chairs and umbrella. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back again.

We loved our stay! It was clean and comfy and so close to the beach and the pier. The cute coffee shops and restaurants right on the same street were wonderful. The street between the resort and the beach can get very busy and chaotic, but the windows in our unit were very sound proof. Being dog friendly was a huge plus to us. We highly recommend the Sea Horse Resort!

You can't get a better view than this! We spent a ton of time on our balcony enjoying the view and people watching. LWhile the summer weekend was busy it is nothing like many beachtowns. It felt relaxing and very safe. San Clemente also has a cute downtown area for more restaurant selections.
Our double queen suite was clean and updated. The beds were comfy. We appreciated the refrigerator to store drinks, ice and appetizers. We did cook an easy meal and had all the equipment needed.
We also loved having a easy parking space that allowed us to come and go to explore some great nearby cities.
We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends!

Stayed for an anniversary trip. Cute place. Very comfortable and the view of the ocean from our 3rd floor balcony was amazing. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Conveniently located. Short walk to some great restaurants, the pier and the beach. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it for great getaway.

It was so nice staying here. The staff were super friendly. Everything was clean and tidy. Awesome patio to people watch and look at the ocean and pier. Very comfortable bed and sitting area. I had a great experience here.

San Clemente and sea horse own a piece of my heart now. My opinion is this place is perfect as far as staff and views, beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Parking of course could be tough but that’s everywhere in San Clemente. They offer you towels for the beach along with sand toys and beach chairs. The train going by did not bother us but the people shooting off fireworks on the beach did, my son 1 mile away could hear them also. It was our first time there but hopefully not our last . This was a big trip with the whole family and I will remember it fondly. Don’t hesitate book the seahorse. We had the penthouse and totally worth it.

This resort has terrific office staff. Very walkable and trolley pick up is close by to take you nearby Outlet stores or into town of San Clemente for shopping and Dining.

The staff and the Ocean!

So- my top reason for choosing this place was to open the window and listen to The ocean all night. It’s just across the street and indeed the waves were hypnotic. HOWEVER - the TRAIN passed through multiple times throughout the night and it was EXTREMELY loud. And even closing the window did not block out much of the noise. Worst night of sleep ever! Not the hotel’s fault but I just paid $300 to NOT SLEEP at all.
On the positive side , the room was very clean , view was lovely and Christina at the desk graciously moved us up to upper floor ( this did not help with the noise at all though ). By the way - she said upper floors cost more but that’s not indicated on their site on hotels.com whatsoever ( she did not charge us for this , but still FYI ….)
