Enjoyed our 2 night stay at Marsden's. Spacious room, very clean & comfortable. Good shower, plenty hot water.
Coffee, tea provided in the room.
Our meal at Marsden's restaurant was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff ensured our visit was comfortable.
Good access to buses which we used to & from Stirling.

Hotels.com had bit transferred my payment to the hotel so initially we were not allowed to access our room. Thanks to very helpful manager Matt we who sorted the muddle we were able to get to our room. All fine in the room and friendly welcome.

The highland gate was ok. The reception and the resteraunt was what all the pictures was about. I cozy inn with bar and comfort. But the rooms was in another building, and was, what it seems like, an old nursering home. Even the help buttons and the pull cord was still in the room.

This is a good basic chain of hotels with everyting you need. It's not luxurious, but it is clean, the beds are good and they always have a pub next door for meals.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very good considering that they were incredibly understaffed and overworked. Two women were doing check ins and serving a packed large restaurant. Need to put the street number of the hotel in the directions. It was very hard to find without it.

AC was not working and the room was very hot which made sleeping uncomfortable.
Please offer more vegetables with meals. I had a lovely chicken dish with chips and lettuce, mixed veg and boiled potatoes would have been a lovely option.

In the US, I’d call this a medium-level chain motel - above Motel 6, below Best Western. The room was totally adequate and unremarkable. The bed was a bit hard for my tastes. The restaurant is convenient and the food is … edible. (Maybe try something other than the chicken.)
