Cute place, the small kitchenette is well stocked

A lovely guest house right down near the Loire River. Very clean and plenty of room to stretch out. We stayed at Villa Mary in October, the neighborhood was quiet

Excellent accommodation and super comfy bed. We were fortunate and managed to park outside the front door, but parking is fairly limited around Villa Mary.

Pierre, was friendly and helpful. He provided great suggestions for activities in the local area. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the window latch was broken so we could not open the window for fresh air. This was not a problem since temperature in the house was very comfortable. We wished that we had planned a longer visit to the town and would be happy to stay in the same room. Thanks Pierre!

Such a beautiful inn! So clean and cozy with a big comfortable bed, great shower, and big window. Grapevines, wisteria and flowers adorn the back side. There's a perfect little kitchenette for guests to use which was very helpful. Mary was so kind, a gracious host. Villa Mary was the best accommodation so far of our 5-week trip!

Excellent! Mary was the ideal host. Beautiful home. Definitely poured some money in to it. Ideally located to town. Definitely would stay at her home again.

Room was nice but, if you do not like perfume smells you will not like it. Allergies/sinuses had issues. Clean but, why so many scents. Parking was on very narrow streets, did not feel comfortable leaving car around corner from Villa. Wished it would have included some form of food for breakfast, looking for food the night before was very limited.

Marie has a lovely spot. Very convenient to both the train and the town of Amboise. Room was nice adjacent to a small kitchen we could use.

The host was friendly and helpful. He helped us bring our suitcase up and down a somewhat long steep and winding staircase to our second/first floor room. We are a bit older and staircases like these are difficult enough for us to walk on without carrying heavy articles. We wouldn’t have asked for assistance but I think there would have been a fair chance of us crashing down the stairs! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Villa Mary was in great location, in ten minutes to Chateau de Amboise by walking. My room was cozy,clean and beautiful. I really want to visit again.

The room is lovely, everything you need and a short walk to town. Mary was very helpful and accommodating and would stay here again. Some quirks to the tiny neighborhood, some bar noise on weekends, views great!

It was simply lovely- quiet and charming, as well as very convenient to town and train!

The owner was lovely and very welcoming. I asked of there was any milk for tea in the morning and there was some in the cupboard so I really appreciated that. Room was very nicely decorated and spacious. Shower very good. Great location for visiting Amboise. And parked right outside the house too which was handy.

My daughter and I stayed at Villa Mary while visiting the Loire Valley. The location in Amboise is perfect and Mary does a wonderful job of making sure you are happy and comfortable. Everything was great, extremely clean, and easy. There was plenty of free on street parking. I can’t wait to return!

Fantastic house in a great location. The quality of the finish in the room was first-rate, the bed was large and extremely comfortable - and there was a well-equipped kitchenette, shared with the other room. Marie was an excellent, friendly host and Amboise itself is a lovely town to visit, with everything reachable on foot. Great view of the château from the Ile d’Or and the Château du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci lived at the end of his life is well worth a visit.
