We highly recommend this hotel! The service is exceptional - wether it’s the housekeeping staff, lifeguard, gardeners, security guard or receptionist - they were all great! The room/apartment is huge and clean, the swimming pools are no exception. Location wise, it’s not far from D’Mall (the offer free shuttle every hour, which is awesome in this heat)!

Aqua Boracay itself is a 5 stars hotel for me and added to that all staff and crew are excellent in everything.

My stay at Aqua Boracay was the worst hotel experience of my life. The moment I arrived, it was clear this place was a disaster. The hotel was filthy. Trash and debris littered the hallways, and the carpets were stained and unvacuumed. My room reeked of mold and mildew. The sheets were stained, and the bathroom was disgusting, with mold and dirty towels. The hotel is infested with rats and roaches. I saw rats in the hallways and my room. Roaches crawled on the walls and floors. Sleeping was impossible due to the fear of pests. The staff was rude and unprofessional. They dismissed my complaints about the rats and roaches and offered no solutions or apologies. The advertised amenities were a joke. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the breakfast was stale pastries and lukewarm coffee in a dirty dining area. Aqua Boracay is a disgrace. It's filthy, infested, and staffed by uncaring individuals. Avoid this place at all costs.

The staff was the friendliest I have ever stayed at, the property was immaculate and top notch. My favorite resort I have ever been too.

Aqua Boracay is an amazing place to stay with my family, the pool was not too crowded which is great when you have a big family who loves to swim. Thank you Aqua for your great staff and employees.

The property itself is very safe and wonderful. Feels very safe and the facilities are modern. What i dislike most is their beach, we were not able to swim there because there are a lot of water activities going on all day, feels unsafe to swim with big kites flying around. We ended up going to the white beach to enjoy the beach and Boracay’s amazing sunset. If you just want to stay in the resort and use pools, Aqua is the best. But if you are looking for the real Boracay experience, go somewhere else.

Staff are very friendly

The property and staff was amazing. Only downside was there was no microwave or plates and utensils in the room. The room was amazing and so much space and a full size refrigerator which was amazing. But we couldn’t re heat anything. I would definitely stay again!

This property is not on White Beach. It’s actually on the opposite beach (east side of island) on Bulabog Beach. The property is very nice, clean, with modern renovated bathrooms. Balconies are nice. Heat and air conditioning were good. Breakfast was included with our room rate. There are two very nice pools exactly as pictures. The pools are quite warm and you can float for hours without feeling cold. CONS: the beach section is nice for walking but it’s not all the great. There is seagrass growing about 10 meters out that stifles any desire to want to swim on this section. While the resort property itself is very nice, quiet, and clean. The beach section is not that great. There was dog poo, mostly locals watching you, and stray dogs wandering around. White beach is for bikinis and swimming, not this beach. You’ll look weird. There is a nice walking path for an early morning run. There is an hourly shuttle that takes you do the D’Mall (downtown walking street), but if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk via a rough street you can just huff it too. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more quiet, mature resort vibe.

this place was great. great staff...and i cannot say that enough. these folks were fantastic. clean facilities. everyone was always around to help you from the front desk. to the cleaning people, the pool folks, to the security guards on the beach. the rooms were great, it was a great location in a quiet section of back beach. I can't say this enough, this place was great. we stayed in another resort and ended up checking out 5 days early because it was terrible and moving to Aqua boracay. these folks saved our vacation. It was a place you think of when you say I want a great vacation...this place is it.

The only thing i would pick is you are required to book house keeping everyday which is annoying and have never had to do this at any other Resort.

The Outstanding Performance in a leading role for Boracay resorts at the perfect price point goes to…Aqua Resort! For the price this hotel is more than a home run. The pool is close to perfection, the online photos don’t do it justice. If you’re a sit around the pool person, this is your place. We booked the jr suite pool view, and in the US it would be considered a luxury one bedroom apartment. Spacious, thoughtful design, good WiFi, lots of bottled water and coffee. The bed is very comfortable. The resort is a short walk to everything, and you can get away from it all by walking back. The white sand resorts seemed very tight and lacked any sunshine on the pools. In fact, some of the more expensive hotels there had no sun on the pools. The beach behind Aqua is private and quiet, with a boardwalk and a few bars and restaurants. The service is top notch. Everyone was friendly and attentive, doing their best to make sure we had everything we needed. So, property, pool, room, location, and service are all way better than what you are paying for. If you’re looking for pool food and drink service or 5 star food, you should book one of the 400.00 USD resorts up north. The food and drinks are appropriate for this price point (we are from the US and would pay much more for this level of quality at home.) But I would not consider the quality of the food in the luxury category. There is no service at the pool. You’ll need to walk up to the pool bar to order drinks or food.

Staff all fantastic beautiful rooms and pool breakfast was hit and miss Miss universe Philippines 🇵🇭 was being held there not very convenient for the guests got locked out of my room 4 times had to wait to be let in but overall a very good hotel

The hotel is very nice, clean and friendly staff. Everything is closed by, 5 minutes transportation the center of Boracay. Love this place. I would love to stay here again.

Fantastic place on the quieter side of Boracay but only a 5min walk to the D-Mall. Staff super friendly. Buffet breakfast delicious with many varied options that change daily. Great pool and gym facilities. Rooms spacious and clean. Can’t wait to come back!!

Staff go out of their way to help you so friendly and polite. Breakfast was good they catered for many nationalities. We were on the quite side of the Island which was preferable nice bars and the beach outside the hotel was kept scrupulously clean by the hotel. We had a suite which was so comfortable and breathtaking view from our room there was also a pool outside our door. Would definitely go back again.
