The continental breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed visiting with other guests at breakfast. The T train was two blocks away with service every 8 minutes.

Great place! Really enjoyed my stay; the people were warm and inviting; the house was very homey and close to the Green line. Loved the breakfast---will be staying again!

We stayed for two nights. I wish it was longer. The room is large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom has a deep tub and walk in shower. The highlight for us was the attached private screened porch. We had coffee out there in the morning and ended the day with a glass of wine. Perfect stay. The owner was very accommodating. I highly recommend this place

We had a lovely time at the Village B&B,our hostess was great,friendly,knowledgeable about Boston and very helpful with directions to trains,a very short walk from house ,and where we wanted to be in the city.The house and gardens are beautiful and very comfortable,breakfast was delicious and plentyful,we made full use of the garden and the little village has lovely shops and eateries, cant fault anything .

This was a lovely place, close to Rt9, but seemed so far away! Our suite on the top floor was very clean and comfy, though tall people might beware of the dormer roof in the bathroom. A great spread for the continental breakfast in the dining room. And there are lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance. Claudia is a great host, very helpful but not intrusive.

Claudia was a great host. Excellent continental breakfast and close to Newton Highlands T-stop and a number of restaurants. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

I loved my stay! Claudia is a wonderful, kind and friendly host and her house is beautiful, warm, clean and inviting. My bed was very comfortable and the room felt like it could have been my bedroom at home. The delicious breakfast, very close proximity to great restaurants, village shops, fitness studios, public transportation and free off street parking made this a five star experience. Thanks so much Claudia!

I'm not much for B&Bs in general, but for a last-minute trip to a funeral, this was a great find. My host, Claudia, was warm and friendly, and the room, bathroom, and screened-in porch were clean and very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to come back under better circumstances.

We had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean, spacious and private. Claudia was very welcoming and friendly! The area is great with restaurants and shopping within walking distance and the T was close by if you wanted to go into Boston. We would definitely stay here again!

It was me and my girlfriend's first time at a bed and breakfast, and we recommend this place to anyone who is considering it. The king suite was very spacious and had its own bathroom attached. Claudia was very kind and the breakfasts she made were fantastic. We hope to stay there again one day!

Simply outstanding. Claudia is a wonderfully gracious host, the location was superb for us in terms of train access to downtown Boston. Newton Highlands is a beautiful village. Easy access to the I-95 and I-90 for travel to other areas in Massachusetts and beyond. It definitely will be our go-to place when we’re next in the area.

Lovely Victorian home, tastefully decorated while still cozy and comfy. Claudia has thought of everything and presents a beautiful breakfast including homemade granola!! 5 stars!

We loved this stay. The location is wonderful (Boston College parents) - off street parking, easy access to the T. Claudia is a gracious hostess. It was clean and comfortable (bed was a bit firm for me). Breakfast was very generous. If you feel that chain hotels can be soulless, this is the place for you. Will definitely book again.

The owner was warm and welcoming. We had to share a bathroom but this was really not an issue. My only concern was that the mattress was rather firm. We are used to a soft mattress at home. Beautiful neighborhood and walking distance to little shops and a lake. Close to Boston College. Would definitely stay there again.
