I loved this property. It is right on the beach. You walk out your front door and you have a cute porch and then ocean. The rooms are huge, your own kitchenette, living room and separate bedroom and bathroom. Working AC and TV. Also right in downtown Placentia and walkable to all the dining and shops. 10/10 would recommend. Felt very safe and free airport transportation was a bonus.

Nirvana is heaven! Rooms are spacious and right on the Beach. The hosts Barbara and Evan have thought of everything and work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable stay! We highly recommend staying at this wonderful family hotel!

Staff excellent

If you want to stay in a comfortable, clean and relaxing place you should be at Nirvana. The place is beautiful and they offer complimentary continental breakfast. I’ve stayed at many places in Placencia but the staff at Nirvana surpass all, and I was especially thankful to Bricena for her kindness and hospitality. I look forward to staying here again.

We booked Belizean Nirvana based on good online reviews, but it was even better than expectations. I chose a Deluxe 1 BR suite based on what was available, even though we didn't need quite that much space for 2 people. Communicating with Barbara via WhatsApp was convenient and she sent someone to meet us and show us the secure parking area right away, then another staff member (Caroline) gave us a tour of our space. The king sized bed was super comfortable and great for my tall husband. I spent as much time as possible on the balcony - there are 2 hammocks and listening to the waves while admiring the view and rocking is so relaxing! We chose to walk to some of the many restaurants instead of cooking much, but we made coffee each day and stored fruit purchased from vendors in town. The kitchen is well outfitted and it would be easy to make a big meal at the condo. The location on the beach and close to the Placencia sidewalk made dinner easy - we walked a short distance to Rumfish y Vino and Dawn's grill, strolled to massages at Secret Garden and multiple ice cream stops at Tutti Frutti. We stayed 3 nights and took the included kayaks out every night for sunset. It was easy to carry them the short distance to the water's edge and life jackets are included. We didn't end up using the bikes that are also available (there weren't helmets and everywhere we wanted to go was walking distance anyway). Since we had tours on 2/3 mornings, we missed the 8:30 a.m. breakfast

Everything was perfect. Staff attentive and friendly. Room was clean and cozy and filled with all necessary amenities. Tasty breakfasts provided. Property literally on the beach with a comfortable porch and chairs/hammock. Nothing to find fault with at all. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfect location in the middle of Placencia Village. Very clean room with a living room and kitchenette, stocked with virtually everything you could need for a beach vacation. Our porch was steps from the beach, facing the Caribbean. So happy we stayed here!

Belizean Nirvana sits 30 feet from one of this world's most beautiful, clean & safe beaches. This five unit hotel is very well appointed with large comfortable beds, a kitchen with midsized refrigerator for all those beverages, air conditioning, bath & beach towels and so much more. The littlest touches bring the greatest joy like a simple box of clothes pins for those windy days. Barbara & Evan Hall pull out all the stops on this getaway hideaway. Just a short walk from Ming's grocery across the People's Highway (a sidewalk that parallels the beach and the road) then a little further. WiFi is solid. Breakfast on the roof is a sunny treat. We spent five nights Mon-Fri in the Morning Glory room. I enjoyed reading in the two cushy chairs. We had a four-chair glass table. Our porch had two padded chairs with padded automans and a deployable hammock. Plenty of great restaurants within walking from Nirvana. We enjoyed SmoQi's BBQ, Rumfish, Rick's for pasta, Hobb's Brew Barge was a real treat! Plenty of crafters & souvenir shops on the street or the sidewalk. I feel tanned & rested staying at Belizean Nirvana!

The service was incredible, the views of the ocean are breathtaking, and the area is great fun. If you're considering Placencia, book this hotel. It's as good as they come.

We recently stayed at the Belizean Nirvana and had an excellent stay. The room was spacious and clean. The owners were attentive and provided advice even before we arrived. Levi was friendly and gave us an excellent excursion recommendation. We would definitely return!

We had the pleasure of staying in the Oceanfront Hibiscus room and we loved, loved, loved our stay here! Beautiful views, Steps to the beach, super clean, very spacious and the apartment was fully stocked with everything you needed and then some. The owners and staff here really do go above and beyond to make your stay feel homely and amazing! Breakfast was great. A few more hot options would of been nice but we still enjoyed. Would definitely stay again. Book it, you'll be happy that you did!

If you are driving, parking is not convenient: about a 4 -5 block walk away. Property is right on the beach and is spotlessw and bug-free but luggage has to be schlepped in about 3-4 blocks.

Excellent modern hotel with many amenities. Staff was great, location on the beach and close to many restaurants in Palencia. Has kayaks, bikes, safe, umbrellas, yoga mats, hammock, full size refrigerator, etc

Directly on the beach. Our room was equipped with all we needed- yoga mat, laundry basket, makeup mirror, insulated bag cooler, multi-port USB, coffee. Bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful. Staff and owners are outstanding people. We will be returning!

We loved the location! You can walk to restaurants, diving, shopping etc. The property is on the beach, you can watch the sun-rise, or just hang out on the patio listening to the water and relax.

Amazing location, right on the beach in Placencia. Sitting on our private veranda with the water about 50 feet away was wonderful. The place is small - maybe 6 units? But the units are nice - kitchen with full-size refrigerator, living/dining area, separate bedroom. Bathroom was updated and very clean. While the location was very quiet, it is centrally located and an easy walk to all of the local stores, restaurants and bars. The included breakfast every morning included fresh local fruits and other local specialties, served on a beautiful roof deck. The owner & staff were also great - accessible before & during our stay, friendly, attentive and happy to help with local recommendations, transportation, etc. Overall a wonderful experience - we will be back for sure!

Absolutely the Perfect Getaway!

Owners very hospitable. Property right on the beach for easy access. Perfect location for a romantic getaway. Bicycles and kayaks readily available. Recommend a rental if you want to explore areas. Thumbs up.

Amazing hosts that give you a warm welcome and are very helpful! Located on beachside, waking up to the sound of the ocean and incredible breakfast that varies from one morning to the next! Rooms include everything you'd need if you want to cook for yourself lunch/dinner. Would recommend the place to anyone!

Everything was beautiful, super clean, thoughtful extras provided for travellers. Lovely furniture and floors, nice touches everywhere. Staff was delightful and helpful.

Staff was very nice. Ms Carolyn helped for alot of ideas and was very helpful. The area was close to alot of vendors and there was a super market within walking distance. We felt very safe in the area.
