This was a different kind of place. But it was such a great way to start our vacation! We loved the hot tub, and the room was spotless and so eclectic. Communication was fabulous - we will be back!

I loved this place. It was totally wild. Be prepared that each of the amenities cost extra (hot tub, pool, fire pit) but for the nightly cost, it’s still a deal.

We really enjoyed our stay and the use of the pool. The host is very accommodating and generous. We appreciated having a clean, quiet, local spot to return to while in the middle of a move. Thank you!

Honestly this place far exceeded my expectations. I stayed in the A cabin. It was awesome! Bathroom was very large. Lots of amenities. Great water pressure for the shower. Lots of towels available. Mini fridge had free water bottles. Bed was super comfy. Area was quiet. Walkable to a gas station for snacks. Outdoor area was very spacious. It was 88 degrees so I did not go out much. The room AC was fantastic and it also had a small fan which wasn’t needed. TV had a lot of channels. Excellent communication on check in and out process. Check out was at noon which was nice and allowed me to sleep in. Great little getaway with great prices. Would recommend!

This was our 3rd time staying in room A. Great night sleep. Comfortable bed. Convenient. Love the atmosphere. We will be back.

It was strange entering the space through the bathroom, but the room itself is welcoming and cozy. More outlets would be helpful. Love having a microwave, fridge with freezer, Keurig, AC, fan. Everything we need!

The cabin offered a very cozy stay! The room and bathroom were very clean! It’s a nice quiet stay! They have a pool which we didn’t have time to enjoy but we did get to enjoy the fire pit and met the ground’s mascot: Mr. Morky (the orange cat). He was very sweet and welcome lots of attention and pets! The owner of the cabin was very nice and checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay! We would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a nice quiet stay with all the cleanliness of a hotel but the remote feeling of staying in a cabin in the mountain!

This was a wonderful property with plenty of room, good wifi, and a comfortable bed. its really just a hotel room, but the owner has provided great furnishings like nice towels, plenty of plugs, a micro and refrig, an assigned parking place, and provided good communication. We stayed in the "A" room. We would highly recommend this property.

The house feels like the country but it is close to I-64 and downtown Huntington. Staff is great. It was immaculate, comfortable and very tranquil. You could definitely enjoy a vacation at Log Cabin in the Field.

I thought this rental was nice. I liked the porch. very welcoming. The cabin had a nice appearance upon arrival, Rick responded to all text messages. Rick sounded to be a nice host. I would like to make a suggestion that maybe a stool or chair to sit on in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was good.

Ric was great with communication, this was appreciated. Spacious room and comfy bed! Huntington was a really cute town.

Not sure if it was mentioned ahead of time in the description, but the pool, jacuzzi, bbq grill all cost extra! Cabin C does not have any desk/ work station area. Otherwise nice setting, clean, comfortable, abundance of TV choices.

couldn’t ask for a better stay! the cabin was very conveniently located but secluded enough to really feel like we were getting away. the perfect mix of feeling like home but also going somewhere special. we will be definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family! ps. morky the cat was the purrfect little friendly ambassador

The setting was restful with relaxing chairs on the porch. The uneven steps to the porch could contribute to someone tripping and falling

This was a fun stay. It's rustic, like staying at a campground. All the amenities are there. I would stay there again.

I loved the atmosphere and ease of check in and check out. I'll definitely use this location when available for all of my concert trips to Ashland!

It was a beautiful little place to stay. The scenery was amazing, and it was very comfortable.

We stayed here one night in unit A King suite. This place was cozy and rustic. Ric was great communicating with us. There was window air conditioning, so we didn't hear any road noise. We were very comfortable. It is a great stop over place to stay and you can't beat the price. I would rather stay here than in a hotel.

Easy check in. Enjoyed the privacy. There is a pool if you want to go swimming. Clean. Bed is very comfortable. This is our second time to stay in the king suite & would stay again when passing through. Host is available if needed.
