Hillview is quite possibly the worst possible name for this establishment. It is much more accurately named Beautiful Sea Views. After driving or walking up one of the steepest hills you will encounter near Grand Anse, you will be rewarded with beautiful poolside views of Grand Anse beach and a poolside bar. More importantly, I have stayed here several times and the staff and service professionals have always gone above and beyond to meet every need. Some have complained that there are no refunds and that is probably the only thing you will not receive from Hillview. Several people have complained about the owner's gruff demeanor but he also goes above and beyond to make sure that residents are accommodated. For the price, there are very few places worth a stay more than Hillview in Grenada. Also, I don't know if it's just my bad luck or what but every vehicle I have rented from Hillview or elsewhere has had some major or minor issue so I will not hold that against Hillview. If you are looking for local living, a poolside retreat, and some of the most amazing views, THEN Hillview is worth a stay.

Hill view has the most incredible view over grand Anse from the pool. We had a pleasant stay at Hill view. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the view is out of this world!

We recently had a two week stay at Hillview apartments. The unit was comfortable with a balcony that had spectacular views. The basics were included. The owner, Chris was helpful as well as his staff. Yes, there is a steep hill to climb up the road, but an alternative is to take the grassy lawn in the front. It was nice after a day at the beach to have a dip in the pool and enjoy the sunset. The property itself could use a little tidying up. There are usually a lot of people around that aren't staying at the complex. Sometimes it can get loud and busy. A few evenings we had some street noise and dogs barking. (its in a residential area) but we had brought ear plugs and it was all good. Really nice stay and great value. Would recommend Hillview for the budget friendly and those who aren't worried about luxury stays.

Great stay. My only gripe is that the property was NOT located where it said it was on Google maps. And directions aren’t great.

This hotel is very high hill , I had a knee problem for me come down and up it was hard. Wish they provided service for seniors with knee problems. We stayed in the room for few days . Wish I knew this before my booking.

I booked the family apartment on the 16th January for our visit to Grenada. A couple days before our arrival, the receptionist calls to inform us that the family apartment was over booked by one day, and that just for that day/night we will be given 2 separate apartments and move into the family apartment on the second day. This was fine and I agreed. To make a long story short, these apartments do not live up the expectations as pictured. If you’re traveling with small children it is VERY unsafe. We stayed half the day and demanded a refund due to the condition of the apartments. Apartment 1- appliances seemed very outdated, except the kettle. The roof in the kitchen was falling as there was a big hole. The TV that was supposed to be on the wall was on a table not plugged in which I later found out was because they don’t usually use that apartment. There was dust on one of the beds and termite droppings on the second bed. The shower had cobweb, soap scum and calcium build up on the soap dish and the sink faucet constantly leaks, causing water to soak the floor, again they were aware of this. The towels were dingy and discolored which they informed me this was used to wipe the wet floor. When we checked the second apartment, shower had no shower head, and cobweb in the shower and I didn’t stay long enough to view the room. Safe to say.. NEVER AGAIN

The pictures used to advertise the property are very misleading. The surroundings are kept dirty and the place could do with an uplift. The apartments were cleaner than expected however. Vehicle we rented was in poor condition as well.

I have a very spacious quiet self contained room with a great view. I was able to relax peacefully. I had no complaints.

The hilltop view was very scenic however the location is inaccessible for public transport

A daily sports exercise to get up the hill. But a good price and not far from the beach.

Chris who claims he is the owner was very nasty abused disrespectful unpleasant don't know how to talk to people i ask him about 110 power out let and he went off i will never recommend this place not even for the dead i was very faithful i check out the same day and they still charged me for 10 days plus they over charge me and double charge me

The staff are very warm and polite I would definitely recommend Hillview to others the view is spectacular thanks for the hospitality

Property: Very spacious rooms for a family. Improvements are needed to the washroom (there were no “rainfall” shower heads. Much needed upgrades to shower heads, faucets and toilets ) but all were functional. Hot water avail. Great AC - need to add AC to living-room. Great pool - more for lounging than horseplay/swimming (management concerned with water spilling over). Well supplied kitchen - plates, pans, utensils. A little TLC and this would be an amazing place to stay. 3/5 Location: Great view from apartment complex. Close to Grand Anse beach - you’ll have to walk up and down a very steep hill, But it’s ok (good workout) considering how close you are to the beach. Public Transportation is close (below hill). 4/5 Cleanliness: Cleaning lady from Boca was top notch and did an amazing Job during her shift. Kim was also great and very sweet and kind! Cleaning needs to be consistent - was not daily as advertised. 4/5 Management/Office: could be friendlier and more willing to assist guest. However they gave us our privacy. 2/5 3/5 Overall

The place was hard to find. The first thing that greet us on entering was dirty water when open the bathroom faucet. One mattress on one bed. When you turn you sinks. The other was hard like a box spring. The towels was dingy and stained. No curtain in the bathroom window. No place to charge your electronics. Toilet running non stop. The bed linen was of divers color.

No airport shuttle. Not on the beach. Area outside our room was very unsafe. There was a 1 floor drop that had no railing / guard. We had to keep our 6 year old inside. Took ages to get into the apartment because the guy on the desk could not find the key. Air conditioning was not in the living area. Kitchen was terrible. Gas bottle for cooker was empty. Plates were mismatched and chipped. ! glass for 4 people. Only channels on TV were if we used our netflix / prime account. Wifi was poor. Electrical adapter had to be used for the TV. Toiletries consisted of 1 small bar of soap. Definatly far from the add

The view from the bar and from our balcony, and the lovely clean swimming pool were the highlights. The unit was clean and functional. There was one bedside table and one pillow each on the bed. Sheets and towels were Ok, but could use an update. The kitchen had all we needed to cook a meal, but could use some glass glasses and wine glasses. It is on a very steep hill, but we walked up and down it without problems. It is a convenient location for the beach, town, etc.

Outstanding view from my apartment. Would recommend to get single room 8 if it’s just for 2 persons. The room was very clean and well maintained. Very good value for money. Staff were very helpful and polite. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this apartment to everyone.

I think the property was under represented on the ad. There was no hot water and the walk up to rhe property from town is up a very very steep hill. Stafe was extremely friendly and helpful

I loved the location. Down the hill is the beach Grand Anse Beach across. Close to the craft & spice market. The staff was very helpful and responded immediately when we needed them.

We stayed here over New Years 2023. Overall good stay, but a few things that might help you and the property manager. Guests might not be expecting to bring their own matches for the stove. One roll of toilet paper feels a bit cheap as well as no paper towel. I realize it’s an apartment but rough day 1. To their credit, they did bring us to the closest grocery store on day 2. Taxis and Haylup and taxis are easy to get. Spice market, Umbrellas, West 61, beach, all very close. You can walk there but coming back the hill would be challenging but doable. The pool and view are really nice. There’s a bar onsite if you needs some drinks. Thanks for the hospitality! We’d come back if looking for cheaper accommodations near the beach.

I really liked the room and view I had. It was convenient and relaxing. The staff is very accommodating and always present when needed. I recommend this property to my family and friends.

The main reason we chose to stay at that apartment is according to Google Map it was located walking distance to the Osprey ferry we were going to take the next morning to go to Carriacou. Unfortunately it was no where near the apartments or near downtown for ATMs, restaurants, shopping, etc. Basically, we had access to nothing walking distance. We won't go back!

The property was exactly as described and suited my requirements perfectly. Pleasure to deal with the staff on site, easy check in and check out. Great view from the pool and bar.

We like :small swimming pool with gorges view and new floor in apartment. Do not like wrong map of apartment location, almost nothing in kitchen ( no pan, dishes, forks and spoons, dishes cleaner) poor bath designed.

The apartment was very clean, but television was not working and limited utensils.

Overall stay was good. Location of the property is not very convenient. Also if you reach at night then you cannot buy anything and property does not provide anything to eat or drink even water. Good about property is that it is big 2 bed room one wash room Accomodation with kitchen. You can rent a car from the owner which is very convenient. Pool is good as well. What needs to improve: need to improve lighting, bed sizes, install mosquito traps and one air condition in main living area. Also they must put better welcome toiletries. Also there should be atleast water bottles and some snacks on arrival. Also there should be fans in every unit. I stay for about 2 weeks and my overall experience was good

Location is on a steep hill overlooking the beach. Great views. There’s a golf course nearby, but you have to drive to get to the supermarket or any other amenities. Room was clean. A/c worked well. An iron, microwave, fridge, kettle all provided. Pool sigh a view on property.

Because it was a holiday, we checked in extremely early. They were not quite ready for us but let us come in. They were super accommodating. Some area of the facility are still in construction but it's really a good place. Not super fancy but all new, Restaurant next door, beautiful infinity pool, great view over Grande Anse and only 15 minutes walk to Grand Anse Beach. We are very pleased and for the price highly recommend this place.

The stay was VERY inexpensive but exceeded expectations. The room was spacious and clean and offered a decent view of Grand Anse beach (if you can get past the wrecked car on the grounds). I would recommend this place as it appears the owners are trying to make it into something. You just have to keep in mind it's an apartment complex, not a hotel. It turned out to be a good place to stay after having trouble finding another place to stay.
