Amazing place to stay. Smells clean and fresh!! The whole place was quiet and peaceful. The beach is right across the road with private access. They even offer complimentary beach chairs, towels, and beach umbrellas. We will definitely stay here again!!

We loved the location and nice quiet property ! Dinner and lunch on borrowed bikes was great, too .

I stayed at the ICI for three nights (July 22nd-July 25th). I was looking for a peaceful place on the beach for my “Eat, Pray, Self-care” retreat. This was the perfect place with the perfect hosts & great service. The beach is literally across the street. The cafe is adorable and offers a delicious continental breakfast. My room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable—the bed & pillows were the best I’ve ever slept on. I plan to make this an annual trip. It’s far enough from the “city” to feel like a getaway but close enough to drive to in about an hour.

Very nice property. Good restaurants close by. They have chairs and umbrella for the beach. The pool temperature was perfect and comfortable lounge chairs. We stayed 3 nights and would go back again.

I was in need of a mini Eat. Pray. Love. retreat and Island Cottage Inn turned out to be the perfect place. The rooms are modern, bright, and well decorated. I could have happily set in my room the whole time. The property also has multiple cute spots to sit and read. It’s small enough that there was plenty of privacy. When I did come across other guests, they were very kind and many were repeat guests, which says a lot about a property. The beach is just a few steps away and often I was the only person there, just me and the ocean. The inn provides really nice chairs, towels, and umbrellas that are easy to carry over with you. It’s easy to walk up and down the beach or the sidewalk up above. I walked into the cute town everyday. There are plenty of restaurants, churches, and coffee shops. It’s also easy to drive everywhere and with assigned parking spots, you don’t have to worry about finding a place when you get back. The town is friendly. Everyone nodded and said hello, and I felt safe everywhere I went. I was surprised that there is also a lot of site-seeing to do in the area - nature trails, unique terrain and such. I can't recommend this place more for solo travelers or couples who are looking for a clean, safe, quiet, and modern place to stay and explore.

Clean and sweet

We recently had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend getaway at Flagler Beach. We departed on Thursday morning and stayed at the Island Cottage Inn, an exclusive, adults-only resort located directly across from the beach in Flagler. The inn provided a range of amenities, including beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, as well as a complimentary breakfast each morning and a happy hour on Friday evening. With only nine suites, the inn offered a cozy and intimate atmosphere, and we appreciated having our own designated parking space. We also visited the grave sites of some of the members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet in Jacksonville. The entire experience was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, and we relished the privacy and seclusion of the resort and its surroundings.

Our visit was entirely too short. We never wanted to leave this lovely little nest. What a charming place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Island Cottage Inn is a very cute boutique hotel located about 2 miles South of the Flagler Pier. Check in was easy, our room was spacious and clean with everything we need and more. Breakfast was great and served quickly. We look forward to returning.

I liked that it was for adults only. The rooms was nice, clean and comfortable.

Owners were very kind. I thought the lady that checked us in said the towels would be changed out in 2 days but they were not changed at all. We were there 4 nights. The view of the ocean was nice and the coffee was delicious. The pool was very clean.

Great place to stay at Flagler beach

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back for a repeat. The room was clean, quaint and quiet. The pool was fabulous- the grounds were beautiful and accessibility to ocean a giant plus. What a gem right in Flagler Beach.

The property was clean and the facilities like the pool and Cabana area were very nice. The room was very clean but did not have any real usable Furniture such as chairs. There was a large window high above the bed but you were unable to close the blind which allowed the room to heat up from the afternoon sun . The chairs that were in there were cumbersome and uncomfortable. Originally we were booked into one room and they changed us to an upstairs room because of our pet. Unfortunately the stairs were very hazardous and our elderly beagle ended up falling down the stairs hurting himself and ended up in the local emergency vet's office until 2 AM with a $1,200 bill and a dog that was in a lot of pain. I would not recommend the property for older people as I am near 70 and the stairs were difficult for both my wife and I to navigate safely. Also when he showed us to our room no assistance was offered for the luggage. We had to make several trips up and down the stairs. it was not the best experience.

Treat yourself! Beautiful room at boutique hotel right across from the beach. Great amenities including pool, chairs, towels and umbrellas for your beach time. Owners have thought to provide everything you need in the room too. Within walking distance to dining. Would definitely stay again.

I came with my husband just for a quick getaway and we were both pleasantly surprised with everything. The room was very nice and super clean which I loved! It’s quite close to all the shops and restaurants. Their private entrance to the beach was perfect. I look forward to coming here again!

Fantastic location! A wonderful and relaxing place to stay for a private night away. Private beach access, pool, great room accommodations and amazing touch to details in the entire place. We will definitely be back.

This place is so quiet and quaint. It's a short walk across the street to a private beach area. The hospitality of Dex and Colton was amazing and they were incredibly helpful for all of our questions and needs. I cannot have gluten and they always had a gluten free breakfast option that I really appreciated as some places don't offer this. I highly recommend staying here if you want relaxation and a cozy atmosphere.

Was an amazing stay, everything was so nice and convienant. The place was nice and roomy. Awesome location to the ocean and made you feel like family. Will be staying in the future
