I have no complaints.
Perfect choice for the traveler who wants that tricky balance of excellence where it really matters, without paying your life savings. This is not a cheap hotel, this is a hotel that is great for those of us who are there to actually see the sights and not the walls of our room, yet not be relegated to some cut-rate trash hole. The room was great. Clean, updated, great size.
Unbeatable location right by the central train station.
If you demand amenities like a pool, look elsewhere. I personally was there to see the sights, not a pool.
The breakfast was excellent.
The staff were truly wonderful. Helpful and knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely care.
Bed was perfect - I slept like a baby (and I usually have trouble with this).
Very nice bathroom with full tub and a heated drying rack that was a real bonus. Nice plush towels.

Carpet and furniture looks modern (better than what was my impression from the pictures). Good light (during business travels, I prefer to have stronger light, not dimmed room, so this room was great for me). Parking inside was easy, there was one more space available, though a note that if there are many cars, you may need to leave the car keys at the reception to let them arrange the cars). Breakfast with decent choice.
May come again shall I have a travel through Stuttgart again.

A nice stay on well located hotel. Rooms would need a little facelift, although beds are still comfy. The breakfast was excellent and had a quite good variety of meats, cheese and bread.

Our one-night-stay was a nice experience. The hotel staff overall is very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in a little bit earlier, so we could enjoy the fan party in Stuttgart.
The room was huge, had a nice balcony and a very comfy bed. It is not the most modern furniture, but it is classic and good quality.

Great location in Stuttgart close to the train station into the pedestrian shopping area. The hotel is older but is being remodeled as they were replacing all the carpet while we were there. The staff is very good and attentive. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had for a free breakfast at a hotel. Definitely be sure to make it down for breakfast every morning.

The property is very centrally located and is one of the reasons I chose this location. However , the decor was not to my taste and seemed very outdated. The room was of a large size for EU hotels. The breakfast was very broad in selections and included hot choices. The cappuccino was excellent. The lift is available but only holds three persons or less with large luggage. Our room was warm so we opened the window and were awakened by the trash collection early in the morning. Parking is available in the hotel for 12euros. But you must leave your key with the desk .

The Air conditioning does not go on unless the temperature is more than 24C in the day. This it was so hot at night, we couldn't sleep at all. Opening windows keeps you awake die to street noise. The beds are still from the 1980s and you could feel the springs in your back. The pillows were cheap and only 1/4 filled. Breakfast was mediocre but they should invest in a toaster.

Very nice location, close the central station. Hotel is not brand new but very good price/quality. I especially like their breakfast buffet, you feel that they really prepare it with attention and love : ) Very friendly staffs there, too.

The staff at reception and in the breakfast buffet were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room, though a bit small, was quite adequate for my needs. One failing was not having washcloths in the bathroom. We Americans do like our washcloths. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, though.

The hotel staff were friendly and spoke English, the location is close to the railway station and there are restaurants and bars nearby. The room was clean and en-suite. there was a TV with English TV channels. The bed was comfortable. I had to leave early to catch a train so I did not have breakfast. This is a lovely hotel and if I were to return to Stuttgart I would stay here again.

Quite a pleasant surprise, the hotel was close to the station and city centre which is one of the reasons I chose to stay there, but the breakfast really took me by surprise. Nothing beats a fresh pot of coffee and a good selection of fresh food, it is more of a continental style with limited hot food but it was more than enough for me. The room itself is a little tired but everything else makes up for it.

I like this hotel very much. It has personality; lovely, friendly staff; a great breakfast; comfortable and welcoming rooms... and it is right in the centre near the Hauptbahnhoff. It's near shops, restaurants, parks, museums and you can walk to many of these places, yet it's quiet and calm. I will definitely try to stay at the Unger whenever I visit Stuttgart.
