Grand Bach Sendai was a fantastic choice for our stay in the city. The hotel’s blend of modern style with a serene, classical atmosphere made it a welcoming retreat. Located about an 8-minute walk from Sendai Station, it’s conveniently situated while still offering a quiet escape from the bustling city.
One of the highlights was the onsen onsite – a great feature that added a touch of relaxation after a day of exploring. The only downside was that the water temperature was noticeably too hot, which made it difficult to fully enjoy. That aside, the rooms were comfortable, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the property. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall experience. Grand Bach Sendai provided a perfect mix of comfort and accessibility for our visit.

Well thought out room fitting for convenience. Set breakfast is creative, but western set only has beef as sole choice (despite being notified in advance upon booking). Free ramen supper with piano lounge is soothing.

Easy walk with luggage from Sendia station, just look for the East exit not the North exit.
Very nice hotel in every regard but if you want breakfast you need to make a reservation.

They are from the quiet side of Sendai station, it takes a little more time to walk from JR station. The hotel has hot spring on the 16th floor and I like the most. The room is clean, ok size but the washroom would be a little better.

It truly is Johann Sebastian Bach themed. There is live piano in the lobby from 4-7pm, at least on Saturday (the only evening I was there). There is a public bath on the top floor.

Nice hotel close to Sendai Station. The facility is new and clean. It has a public bath, which is very nice. Breakfast came with 16 different local dishes in small bowls. It was amazing meal to start a day.

We had a wonderful stay, easy to walk to from station and not hard to find at all. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, cool shower wall bar system with lots of functions, first time seeing this in a budget friendly hotel. Restaurant/Bar near front desk had complimentary refreshment hours for guests. Lovely experience overall at the Grand Bach Sendai hotel, I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends if they travel in the area.

Complimentary beverages and snacks available at lobby lounge are cool. There was also a well-dressed pianist performing at at some time. Public bath was also playing Bach’s music. However only two elevators were available. Long waiting time at weekend busy hours for return and bath

The staff for this establishmeny are wonderful. They helped me with luggage forwarding when I did not know how to fill out the form and communicated with no problems. The beds were comfortable, but the hallway to get in is a bit small. If you have multiple large luggages, it will be a bit cluttered. Additionally, they only have two washers and two dryers which is not ideal. The dryers kinda sucked too. I put them in for 1hr30mins and they were still wet. You're better off doing your laundry somewhere else. Other than that, the rooms were amazing with a pretty nice view. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bed was soft and the room was pretty large for Japan. Hotel was great. The free beverages and afternoon snacks were picked over however pretty quickly by other hotel guests when we checked on it. Did not matter too much to us however.
