Our 4th time. Quiet well appointed smallish room but with a view of the harbor and a really great public area with fireplace for meals brought in and games, yoga etc. coffee and tea throughout the day and amazing muesli self serve at breakfast.

Beautiful lounge, cute rooms with a hammock chair and scenery thru sliding glass doors. However, the hotel is pet friendly, and our room had dog hair all over the vinyl floor. The edging around the edge of the tub and the grout around the sink was very dirty, Looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. Walking on the floor and taking our socks off at night, there was white pet hair all over our socks. We don’t have any pets….
The hotel rates very well, so it could be that they just forgot to vacuum or clean the grout areas….
The granola for breakfast was very good with lots of nuts, etc. added.

Such a cozy spot on the coast! This was our third time here and we enjoy it every time. Rooms are cozy and the view is serene. This time around, a couple of spots were missed by the cleaning crew, but nothing that affected our stay. Note that breakfast is typically homemade granola, milk and fruit, plus coffee and/or tea. I enjoy that but I know not everyone does.

For three of us, room was kinda small, Bathroom was small and breakfast was small. The beds were ok we just perfer a little softer. Can definitly hear ppl upstairs at night and walls are thin to the rooms next door. The room was clean the main level was clean and gave a peaceful relaxing vibe. Felt more like a bnb than a motel. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice easy to talk to helpful and accommodating. Overall it was a good place to stay but 3 women need a little more room to spread out their clothes and makeup lol and maybe a bit quieter place to sleep. ;)

I wish there was more of a breakfast considering the price per room. I could pay less and still get a hot breakfast somewhere. Otherwise loved it

Loved our stay. Very nice hotel, wonderful people.
My only complaint is that the walls are not well insulated as far as hearing people on the other side of the room including dogs barking/ whining
Laundry off balance in the washing machine and outside noice.
It did not go on through the night just as people were settling in. However, I would suggest some type of noice proofing.
Still a very nice place to stay.

This was very clean and modern and staff very nice and helpful. Was a great place to stay. This was advertised as having breakfast included but there was only fruit and little baggies of granola with milk. Coffee and water. Also the wi fi was weak.

Our stay here was excellent. They have a very friendly and welcoming environment. From the open community area to the spacious rooms. We loved our stay here. The cherry on top was us being able to take a plant clipping so we can always remember this place.

I found the property to a good place to relax and gather your thoughts and all the amenities you would need after traveling. I would love to stay in the future for a whale watching trip I had a chance to see a few when I stayed.

Room 10 was great last year but room 2 had a very horrible lumpy bed with lumpy pillows. The place is very cute and cozy outside of the rooms. It’s nice to have tea and sit and watch the bay.

Modernized property but a bit cold and utilitarian. Calls itself minimalist. Online photos make room seem much larger and more upscale than it is. Breakfast was only granola and coffee, so if you don’t eat granola, as we do not, there is essentially no breakfast at all.
Room was clean and had lovely view of harbor.

The queen bed was way too soft. We prefer a king. No closet in the room for hanging stuff.

A unique hotel.
No maid service but they left room needs on a shelf to get as needed. Also laundry facilities had free soap and no cost to use the machines.
Coffee, granola and fruit was put out at 8am. The coffee and granola were excellent.
The front desk was closed at 6 pm and the front doors locked. We were given a code to into the hotel after 6 pm.
Overall a very nice stay and would definitely stay there again.

The property was very clean and the faculty was nice. I didn’t however like that the back patio door in my basement room would not lock. Everything else was very nice.

Very nice and clean hotel. Great view of the bay. Refreshing to stay at a place without carpets!! The bed was very comfortable and rooms were nice sized. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, with 2 stories and a basement level. Breakfast was very, very small. Lots to drink & they had pitchers of water, that you could take to your room. The lobby was great with many chairs to sit and relax. I would stay there again, not sure if my husband would, as there’s no person after 6 for check-in. The overall stay was very good, if you don’t mind doing passkeys, if you arrive late.

Super cute but overpriced. And the continental breakfast is extremely subpar. Coffee, bag of granola and an apple or banana. Room floor was dirty, bathroom is dirty and had mould in the corners of the tub. Service is excellent and it’s in a great location. No air conditioning. We had to keep the patio door open all night with no screen.

This is such a beautifully thought out hotel. They had amenities like laundry, dog supplies, tea/coffee. You couple self help yourself to extra towels, soap, pillows and blankets. It was clean and I loved the living space that was really inviting to hang out and enjoy the view.

Nice location right in the harbor so a little bit away from restaurants and shops. Room was very nice. No staff on site after 6 but we didn’t have any issues with that. Tv kept freezing but not a big problem for us.

This place was small but every detail was awesome! The beds were very comfortable, the atmosphere was serene and the set up was so well thought thru. Front desk woman was kind and always had a smile on her face!

This " boutique" hotel was directly next to the harbor at Depot Bay with fantasic views, multiple places to eat, super clean and friendly staff. Everything was thought of for a great stay. I traveled with my dog and they even had pet bowls for him! Stairs up or down were an issue for me, no elevator, but the staff kindly helped me with suitcase, so no problem. Great place to anchor for whale watching- recommend trips out of the whale museum and fishing charters.

I don't know how to describe it. It's more than a house but smaller than a motel. It was quiet and comfortable. My teenage nephew was with me so we booked the room with bunk beds. It was wonderful. Plenty of ports to charge everything. Coffee was nice and dark the next morning. Would absolutely stay here again.

Mix reviews here. Room was nice , comfortable and spacious. Had a nice cottage feel. Unfortunately there was no Ac which made the room very hot with the sun facing in. Room temp was hotter inside then out. We loved the room other then that. Would stay again but NOT in the summer or anytime the temps are over 80.
