Absolutely the most beautiful boutique property I have ever stayed at. The staff is phenomenal, welcoming and encompassing the best of Martha’s Vineyard. As a long time visitor I cannot recommend highly enough!!!

The entire reception staff was marvelously warm and helpful while the property freshly renovated with island crisp/clean decor. The signature chocolate chip cookie to die for at tea time.

The Edgartown Inn was an absolute delight to stay at during our girls' short trip to Martha's Vineyard. The rooms are beautiful and have luxurious feel to them with all the amenities. The "included" breakfast was delicious with a variety of healthy options. Additionally, the mid-day cookies snacks were out of this world. But best of all was the staff, in particular Neusa. She was very professional, helpful and so accommodating which made our stay even better. I can't wait to visit again and stay at the Edgartown Inn.

What a spectacular place. October is a great month to be in Martha’s Vineyard and the Edgartown Inn is where you want to stay. Right in the middle of all the shops restaurants and the water. And Allison as our hostess couldn’t have been more awesome. Let her direct you to the Larsen Fish Market for your best meal on the island.

The good: The area and inn was quiet and peaceful and clean. The bad: the bed was too soft and lumpy, so we didn't get a good night's rest. Usually, hotel beds are firm. The breakfast was laughable and paltry for the price of the room.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. It is pretty - you see the pictures online - but the parking situation was highly problematic and the customer service was abysmal. The hotel does admit on this site that they lack parking, which they justify by saying you don’t need it, you can take the bus. It is true the island has a bus, but during Covid times I am trying to avoid public transportation and anyway how is waiting at a bus stop part of a luxury vacation? So you bring the car. From 6 AM to 11 PM you have to move the car every two hours, and that’s if you can get a spot. There are small squares nearby where you could leave your car from 11 PM to 6 AM if you can find a spot, but how is waking up early to move the car before you’re towed part of a luxury vacation? So you have to leave the car at this lot at the edge of town where the tourist buses park and walk back one full mile to the hotel, through poorly lit streets. Then there’s the customer service problem. This hotel is staffed only during business and they will not offer any assistance before 8 AM or after 6 PM. I wanted to check out early to catch an early ferry and wanted to know if they wanted me to just leave the room unlocked with the key on the table or did they have a drop box. They do not answer phone or text after bankers hours. One number they give is out of service, and the other goes straight to a machine they never check. I checked out early to stay at a legitimate hotel instead.

The staff are absolutely amazing and so engaged. They appear to genuinely enjoy providing care and assistance and it makes the experience so relaxing and inviting. I can’t wait until next year! Katie was the best!
