Clean and cute hotel. Super friendly staff. Clean and well-equipped gym. I travel extensively for work and this is the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in- although I didn’t get much sleep. It was surprising because the rest of the hotel seemed new and nice. Might as well have been sleeping on a cardboard mat on the floor. I can generally sleep anywhere - not that picky - this was the WORST. Will pass on this hotel chain I the future.

Had some phone issues with check in. After long drive I needed assistance. Made a comment about going elsewhere and a male front desk employee told me to look both ways before crossing the street. However Angelica was very helpful!!! Also one night men staying in next room we're playing video games and swearing and throwing things against our common wall. This went in until about midnight . I didn't report due to fear of receiving retaliation. I did tell front staff this morning. I do wish your Hispanic staff could speak some English.

Very nice and clean hotel.

The hotel was great, nice efficient staff, good breakfast, close to town but the hotel is located behind a large equipment business and their storage yard was the view from our window.

Staff was not friendly or helpful at all. Did not want to have to interact with guest and let you know.

Tru in Auburn, IN, is a minute off the highway, yet secluded and quiet. There are excellent restaurants and shopping in Auburn and nearby Garrett. The rooms and property are clean and comfortable with excellent amenities such as breakfast, in room fridge and large screen TV.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was a little disappointed about breafast. No fruit or danish.

Nice hotel. The lobby area was great for hanging out with family. Our room was clean and decently sized. Breakfast was good. Has a pool table in the lobby. Wish there was an actual pool for the kids. Very clean hotel.

Waited 10 minutes for an employee to show up and check us in. Employee complained about how she doesn’t get enough time off and wants to spend more time with her family.

It looks like this hotel is plopped down in the middle of a construction site. Roadside signs are hard to find to guide you to the property. Although it has a modern look to it, it probably needed some additional attention. When I got into my room, the first thing that caught my attention was the echo-ness of room. Followed by the sound of air, escaping through a crack. The entry door had a very large gap between the door and the frame. The door between rooms was also hissing with pressure. Although staff was helpful and friendly, they seem to be having problems with the register and getting people checked in. One of the staff complained about Expedia. Another had problem making change for a purchase because of the register. The next morning I had the continental style breakfast. It was quite good. The pancake machine was quite inventive. No ice machine next to the breakfast bar. I’m not exactly sure what the target clientele is for this property, but you may want to rethink how you attract people here. Expedia steered me to the location and it was further away from my intended destination that I had intended. I will need to look at that also.

Overall great hotel

New construction but walls seemed thin allowing noise from other rooms. Water pressure seemed weak. Breakfast options good but pancake maker out of service. In room refrigerator not even slightly cold. No option to adjust. Room was smaller than thought but okay for one night. Liked having pool table in lobby. Lobby sitting options were great.

What a delightful stay! I love the chill vibe and atmosphere. Will stay again and search out more Tru properties when I’m away from home! 😍
