Kids had a great time！ Perfect getaway if your famy wants to stay in one place and not have to drive around too much.

We really look forward to our wholesome yearly family trip at the UCLA lodge. It reminds us of simpler times. The staff is amazing and everything is clean and cozy.

Perfect for our needs as a family of 6. Would go back there.

I like everything about this property

The property was really beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were superb! We booked a two bedroom chalet. We stayed at Buckthorn Room 70. It was nice and clean. We did have a rough night sleeping because the heater in our chalet was making creaking and clicking noises periodically that would last about a minute at a time. It was bearable in the day because we didn’t stay long indoors but at night the noise kept waking us especially the first night. Perhaps that can be checked before the next guests arrive. Also, this next experience wasn’t in your control but would we would like to share it. the walls/door that separated us from chalet 69 was rather thin. The guests at Rm 69 made so much commotion on Sunday morning before they left. They were very loud, were shouting/screaming so much. At one point someone seemed to be manhandling/throwing furniture or maybe their luggage. It was a bit unsettling and considered reporting them at the time but decided not to. Oh and the kids liked the game room and requested to have more board games. Other than those two incidents, our stay and the staff were very pleasant. We would definitely return! Hopefully with quieter neighbors and quiet heater. 🙂

Rena was the receptionist that checked us into the Lodge. We would often come back to her with requests, inquiries, restaurant recommendations…. Etc… She was always so helpful and a delight. We will be back!

The buildings feel a little old but they are very well kept and the bright lighting doesn’t make it feel old or dingy. A few things to note: there was no TV in the chalet we stayed in but there’s plenty of things to do outside. The restaurant is a buffet and served pretty good food at a decent price. No alcohol or soda in the restaurant though. We walked to the treehouse which was more like a tree-platform. It wasn’t a traditional treehouse that kids can play in. There’s other things to see and walk to on the property if you have more time to explore. Last thing, toothbrush & toothpaste is available at the front desk for a charge. They are NOT part of the free toiletries. Overall a great, relaxing stay with the family in the Lake Arrowhead area.

We loved our stay and we really liked the customer service. From the first day we were greeted by Bonnie who worked at the front desk. She was very helpful and kind. The hotel was super clean with lots of trails to hike around. We will definitely come back again. Thank you UCLA Lake Arrowhead lodge!

Will definitely be staying here again. Our kids loved all the activities they could do which included tennis, basketball, soccer, etc.. Chalet was very clean, parking was also good. We went on NYE and they had a party with chicken strips, fries, popcorn and apple cider. It was a fun way to bring in the new year. Loved it here! Highly recommend 😄

Everything look promising!

My family loved the cabin style accommodations. The two bed room and two bath room had a fireplace and was perfect for our stay. They have plenty of activities for kids and families. My teens didn’t want to watch the movie, but did take advantage of the hot chocolate and s’more making kit by the fire pit. We are already planning to return in the summer.

Great stay with my family of 4 kids. My only complaint is that the windows are black out and the sheer curtains over the doors let in way to much light. Our room/chalet was right by the main road and the rooms lit up every few minutes a car drove by. The kids loved the loft and the fireplace. Also, if you have little ones, please be aware there are no TVs.

It was super nice. The resort was beautiful & very well maintained. Super clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

Great property! Only constructive comment would be to make sure you call for “housekeeping” as this is t done without a request. Also, our water heater was on low so we had Luke warm showers for a few days. They corrected it once I let them know. But other than that, lovely property!

It was freezing cold and the heater wasn’t working. Also, there was no hot water, we couldn’t shower. Hotel staff refused to give us a discount for the inconvenience.

The facilities are amazing! There are so many things to do there. The property is beautiful. Our family of 4 had a great time!

It’s very private property with heated big pool; the only negative was - you need to have reservation when you need to eat in their restaurant ..

We had to leave one night early due to noisy large families on both sides. Unsafe stairs in room which I did not know the second bedroom up steep stairs. One of us uses a cane so even getting.up the path to our deck was difficult.Staff was very nice, but encouage grouping of rooms be considered when booking. We didnt know about one floor room option until we complained and were already unpacked and in our room. Way to inconvenience to move at that time. Perhaps just wasnt a good fit..unfortunely as a CAL alumni and owner of travel agency in Santa Barbara, it was very disappointing to have my 75th birthday trip so disappointing and unsafe, Oh, my...

Enjoyed our short but awesome stay. Service was great, food delicious, and all amenities (especially the indoor sauna) made our weekend most enjoyable. We will be back with a bigger group!
