Experienced bed bugs and dirty room. Rooms are not clean! Hair and dust in bed and throughout apartment. Good location, that’s it.

It was awesome. Apartment was clean and very spacious. Check in and checkout was easy. Larry at the front desk was super friendly and helpful

The property was great! I really felt comfortable in the space. The concierge Naya was extremely helpful and welcoming, which was nice in the moment of being slightly overwhelmed. My ONE critique would be to simplify the instructions for finding the parking. That was the most confusing park for me. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would book this again!

Had visitors coming in from out of town. Had to call Abode to instruct them to send a cleaning team out. The place was filthy.. certainly not worth the money. They also put a $500 hold after you pay Expedia so I had over $1200 wrapped up in a dirty apartment. Will never use Abode again. I’ve always had great experiences with Expedia. They should be off your list of rentals.

The property used to be an old train station converted into luxury apartments and event space. Likes:Proximity to downtown and the Strip District Washer/Dryer with detergent Spacious Very Nice Gym Nicely stocked kitchen and bathroom.Great temperature control.Early check in available.Front door staff friendly and helpful.Dislikes:Noise from the train at odd hours of night and early morning (3:00 am). Noise emanating from event space. There were two events during our stay. The first was fine, but the second we could hear the music quite clearly but only for about 45 minutes. We had to get up early the next morning so for the person sleeping on the sofa bed it wasn’t great.Cumbersome reservation process outside of the travel booking platform.Difficult to use ride share because the drivers are not familiar with all the entrances of the building. My particular unit needed a deep clean. Drawers in the kitchen and bathroom had random junk (paper and plastic bags, odd toiletry items, plastic carry out containers). The baseboards and the louver door were thick with dust. There was a ring stain around the tub (I tried scrubbing it out with no success) and the oven was filthy. Some of the dishes, utensils, and pans were dirty (and some should be replaced). Everything else was clean and usable.Note—I didn’t call Abode for every single issue because I do not prefer anyone in my space after I have checked in. The value of the stay was good despite the negatives.

There was no reception, and I wasn’t able to get into my room for 30 minutes. But once inside it was pretty nice despite some of the properly being in less the perfect condition.

We enjoyed our stay at Abode Pittsburgh! The facility and room were very neat and clean. The security staff were friendly and helpful. Communication from Abode was timely and complete. I received check-in instructions that were clear and concise. Very helpful and thorough! This is not a hotel, though. There is no front desk staff and no on-sight restaurant. Although it is downtown in the middle of everything, so anything you might need is a short walk away.

This place should not be on your website. Reservations are very inconvenient because no one representing owner is on property. Room was fairly clean but walls, furniture and light fixtures were in poor shape.

Excellent location, nice apartment. No view to speak of, but not necessary if you are out and about. Would stay again for sure!

I thought this stay would be ideal while I spent a week in Pittsburgh to work. This property created more work for me. Before even getting there, I received many emails and text messages to provide additional information including a photo of credit card and banking confirmation. I was told I needed to provide this in order to receive check in instructions. The place itself was clearly not ready to be rented. There was visible dust and water stains on the bathroom mirror - I don’t think cleaning was done. One morning, men were banging on the door saying they needed to come in to fix the AC. It is located next to the train and you can hear loud screeching at all times of the day and night. This was not a pleasant stay at all.

Some of the fixtures were falling apart and there were ants on the floor. Cute building and apartment otherwise

This 1 BR apartment had a great location with downtown a short walk away and close to T train stops. The unit was spacious but the living room furniture could have been more comfortable. The cleanliness could be better since there was dust in many areas.

The building is beautiful and well-maintained. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Communication is good but realize there is no human interface; it is all email. If you have issues this could be a challenge and fortunately I had no issues.

NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! No tv access unless you remember your passwords to Netflix etc…. And I had boxes delivered there and c/i wasn’t until 4 and housekeeping leaves at 3…. So I wasn’t able to get my packages ….. that’s insane…. I needed them for an event that started the next day at 7 am …..

It took six emails to communicate my access code with them. Once I arrived at the location, I noticed the closet door was broken, the tub filler did not operate. I emailed my request to have this serviced, they were aware of this and apologized and asked if I would permit entry to have this corrected. I agreed to the entry, no one showed up.The following day it was 85° outside and sweltering in the room. I emailed asking for service for the nest thermostat. I was told someone would return my call. And then there was no further communication. The Pennsylvanian is an exceptional property as a whole, but I would never stay with this program again. Their customer service and communication are extremely poor.

Good experience to stay in downtown

Our first night at the property, the room was very warm since the weather was in the 70s during the day. We decided to turn on the air conditioning before going to bed. The windows in the unit were not allowed to be opened and there were not any fans in the room. Prior to our stay, we were never told that we should not turn the air conditioning on at any time before the end of May. After turning on the air conditioning, we received an email stating that we are not to turn on the air conditioning until May and that “Maintenance will be visiting you to turn your system off at the breaker to ensure the system is completely off.” They told us if it’s warm, we needed to open the windows. When I stated that the windows specifically say “do not open”, they said they would drop off a fan. You have to jump through hoops to even stay at the rental. This place is not worth the hassle.

The property was amazingly beautiful. Love the architecture of the building. The apartment was modern and spacious. Location was within proximity to local restaurants downtown and well within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

It was good, abode always answer and communicate everything, the building front desk never appeared that was the only issue

This property turned out to be a great choice for our vacation trip to Pittsburg. The room was spacious, clean and nicely updated. The location was central to both walking downtown, to the stadiums and to the Strip. It was also convenient for our Uber drivers to get to when we needed a ride. The lobby has 24 hour attendants who were very pleasant and helpful - they even watched our luggage as we had a late flight out our last day. We'll definitely look to stay here again for future trips.

I highly recommend Abode Pittsburgh at the Convention Center and hope to stay there again.
