Great value. This property is one block off Rte. 307 as you come into town from the north. Clean and cute fenced compound. Rooms air conditioned and clean and comfortable. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Quick 5 minute car ride to Bacalar waterfront. The two hour tour of the lake was great for 400-500 pesos. Water was so warm and pretty.

Un lugar muy tranquilo!

The value was outstanding! The location is not too far from downtown Bacalar (across the main highway) and you save a ton of money staying here instead of a hotel closer to downtown Bacalar (if you have a car). It is probably a 25 minute walk to downtown Bacalar. Even though there is plenty of street parking, there are only four parking spaces right outside the entrance of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was two blocks off Rte. 307 which was very convenient. Charming small hotel centered around a courtyard with tables and chairs to relax or visit with others. Front desk and staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Room very clean and modern. Hotel is surrounded by the homes of the “locals” which we really liked but it may not be for everyone. We spent about $40/might and we thought it was a great value. Los Rapidos was about a 10 minute car ride. We also took the lake tour in the pontoon for 400 ($20 USD) pesos/person. It was well worth it. Got to swim and learn a lot about Bacalar. Another day we visited a beach club called Cocalitos. Minimal charge of 50 pesos and there is a restaurant and bar there. We had a great three day visit. Bacalar is a beautiful place.

Wonderful stay! My best hôtel in 3 months travelling! Clean,quiet,nice receptionist,nice owner,friendly,helpful,nice garden with chairs,tables,hammocks! WE slept like babies in a spacious room with air con and fan according to our needs. Hot water. WE couldn't Ask for better place.All was perfect! WE booked one night then another one! WE wanted to stay more but unfortunatly we had to leave. Also the place IS close to the beach (WE Can take tours close by)and restaurants by foot but quiet to rest! The room on the same building as the réception was just perfect! Thank you Gris!!! We'll Come back! Now WE have 2 reasons,not only the wonderful laguna!!

Fue una grata sorpresa, mucho mejor que mis expectativas, dado el precio tan economico la verdad tenia muchas dudas y me hacia el animo que solo era para dormir.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in throughout my trip. Beautiful hammocks and garden area. Waking towards the hotel seems very residential but it was worth it.

The A/C was simply wonderful. Could do without that damn Rooster who started making noise well before dawn.

Clean friendly and quiet place very affordable and nice rooms. Wish it had a pool !

Very clean room, the air-conditioning worked super good we were always greeted warmly, Gris is an exelent host very knowledgeable of the area, great suggestions. The staff will clean your room if you ask, as to not bother you. Very quiet at night/day it has a courtyard where you can just seat and relax. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back with our friends soon!
