Really great stay - despite being right in the centre of town, the room was incredibly quiet.

This is possibly one of the nicest hotels of the island. The hotel itself is so luxurious and finished to such a nice standard. Gorgeous rooftop pool with comfy sunbeds to lounge on with views of the castle and the mountains in the distance. Lovely food and drink options too in the restaurant and at the rooftop bar.

I’m actually huge fan of The Standard but my experience didn’t reflect what I was hoping to receive. Unfortunately my shower flooded the room and hallway and while it was fixed, it took hours for housekeeping to show up to clean up the mess and left quite a sour taste in my mouth - especially when I fast-followed with an ask for late checkout by an hour or two and wanted to charge me (even knowing the mishap that had just happened). Hoping that my next stay does not reflect this poor experience especially given how highly I think of this brand

Friendly and helpful staff

Fire alarm went off 3 times in 10 minutes when getting into bed, then again to wake us up in the morning. 10 Seconds each time. Clearly faulty not a test or genuine. Swimming pool and roof terrace shut at 6pm on second night for private party!! Pool / drinks service during day non existent. Second time we'd stayed and reception staff still did the "Wow, this is my favourite room" rehearsed nonsense at reception, then sent us on our way with, "please don't complain as I've already given you the best room we have". Was a nice room, but nothing enormously special.

Classy hotel with a lovely roof top bar and I cool Ibiza vibe….situated ona nice square on the edge of the old town..Nice quiet rooms with huge quality bed ,friendly helpful young staff. Highly recommend if you in Ibiza town.

The property was wonderful!!! The staff was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The rooftop bar and pool were exceptional. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends. The location was perfect! A special shout out to Alex 😎. He is an awesome hospitality manager!

Great location, close to bars and beautiful part of the Old Town. Pros : concierge/reception staff were kind and very helpful with any question. Room was so modern and fresh, lots of wardrobe/drawer storage too. Beautiful rooftop. Shower available in gym for after check out freshen-up (only one though…) Cons: staff on rooftop and at breakfast were kind but hard to get hold of - I sat by the pool for ages with no one offering a drink etc, even when it was quiet. Pool beds are also small (for 2 people) and only 6 of them I think? This area also backs onto the bar/restaurant which I think is too close proximity - people sat eating lunch whilst I’m in a bikini. Need a full length mirror in the room too please! I expected a better service, as this is an ‘iconic’ and pricey hotel. Would stay again as the location and room were great though.

We just had a fantastic stay at the Standard Casa Privada. Gorgeous room and top notch service. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Special shout out to Younes and the bar staff!

First the good part… the hotel itself, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and location were excellent. Now, the however, I booked the hotel because it claimed to have both a pool and spa facilities. On arrival I found that the pool was not available until May, and the spa facilities were both offsite at a 3rd party location and quite frankly extortionately priced. If yo require neither a pool or spa facilities, I would quite happily recommend The Standard as the perfect location in Ibiza town.

Superb customer service, beautiful rooms and communal areas. The breakfast was out of this world! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Standard.

Let’s start with the good stuff: - Interior design is great - Great air con - silent and adjustable in each room. - Breakfast is top-class. Although the restaurant is in desperate need of a maitre d’ as there is an air of chaos. - Gym is a good small hotel gym,but badly configured. It would be dreadful for yoga which feels odd for Ibiza. - Complementary Hierbas Ibicencas for guests returning home in the evening was lovely special touch. Now the downsides: - Rooftop closed for my entire stay. I appreciate the pool is seasonal (which I find quite odd in itself - plenty of places have heated pools in winter) and I understand why they don’t operate a rooftop restaurant in winter. However, I would expect to be able to access the roof terrace to sit and enjoy the winter sun (which in Ibiza is fabulous for sitting outside in a light sweater and reading a book). There is literally no communal lounge space to sit and read or work, which I find utterly bizarre for an upscale hotel. - There are also few amenities of any kind. No sauna, steamroom, communal workspace, communal lounge… all a bit unusual for a 5-start hotel - The arrival experience was awful. Valet parking was non-existent as a van was parked in the valet drop-off for the duration of my stay. I called to ask where to drop the car and was told to go to a public car park 10 minutes away. - Staff are indifferent throughout the hotel. They’re not rude, but they clearly don’t enjoy their job. Temper your expectations.
