Do not recommend for the money invested. The lady was unnecessarily condescending after I arrived 4min late (PS: after also have sending several emails and messages regarding the traffic). If I spend that much money… I expect an equivalent service.

My only issue with this hotel was that the AC was hotel limited to a minimum of 21°C temperature and it was 33°C outside in Ljubljana. The AC was not able to keep up and I'm sure my room never got below 27°C which made it difficult to sleep comfortably at night. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was helpful...

Overall this is an excellent hotel but we do have three criticisms. We were a party of seven in four rooms. One room for was one week, the other three rooms were for 4 nights. In the biggest room on the top floor the air conditioning was insufficient to cool the room. In the room we booked for one week we complained that there was nowhere to place one of our two suitcases and not enough cupboard space to unpack them both. We asked for a stand for the suitcase which the hotel could not / would not provide, which we thought was poor service. Also we suggested to the manager that the towels for the bath / showers were too thin and too small and also, there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. We had to keep our washing equipment (razor, deodorant etc) on the windowsill in the bedroom. Also, the heated towel rail never came on so it was impossible to “recycle” the towels because they were always damp. If the management improved these details at Hotel Heritage it would be 10/10 but as it is we give it 8/10 overall

This was a very nice property. Only ~20 rooms. The hotel and the staff were great. The location was only metres from the canal in the old part of the city - so very easy to walk and walk. Restaurants, cafes, and gelato were within 3 minutes walking. We stayed 2 nights, and would happily stay again or recommend this property to others. Well done!!

Very nice two night stay at Hotel Heritage recently. The hotel is small (only 20 rooms), lovely, and in a great location. FYI - Ljubljana has the largest pedestrian zone in Europe, so you cannot drive to Hotel Heritage, even to drop off luggage. However, it's located pretty close to the edge of the zone, so you can cab to the bridge at the end of the pedestrian zone, and then it's a 5-minute (tops!) walk to the hotel with your luggage from there. The staff were really helpful - they ordered us two cabs (one to the hotel and one from the hotel to the airport really early). The breakfast was very nice (included in the price we paid). Really nice place to stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful, in particular navigating transfers into and from the pedestrian only zone. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious, very well decorated with large beams and window nooks--but also clean and modern. Thoughtful details are present like a coat rack for the room. The breakfast was stellar with tasty and non-generic items. The location is excellent, just off the Cobbler's Bridge, yet separated by a quarter-block, keeping it a little more quiet.

Wonderful location in the heart of Ljubljana old town. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by with the river less than one minutes walk away. Friendly staff, very comfortable and clean rooms plus an excellent breakfast buffet selection.

Lovely, comfortable and quiet hotel. Our room had a very comfortable bed and felt like a suite rather than a room. The breakfast was excellent - delicious range of choices available. The staff were helpful and friendly. Central but so quiet. A very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay and to use as a base to explore an accessible city.

Enjoyed my night in LJU at Heritage Hotel. It’s modern and clean. Wonderful breakfast. Helpful staff. Walkable to market, castle, etc. parking nearby. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a couple. Nice hotel, very centrally located which is ideal for exploring Ljubljana. The welcome was good - we were greeted with options for a drink (we had the local blueberry liqueur) and given some helpful info on getting around and to Lake Bled. The room was fine (room 1, a superior double room overlooking the street). It lacked a couple of key items, like a waste basket in the room (there was just one in the bathroom), and the tea and coffee options were very limited (just a packet of cappuccino mix and some fruit teas). The towel rail didn't turn on, so there was nowhere to dry the towels and the cleaner just rehung them on the rail, so on the 2nd day we had damp towels to use. I ended up drying them on the heating vent, but that's not ideal. The dirty spoon from our coffee on day 1 was left on the shelf until we left. There is a wardrobe but with little hanging space and what there is is only for short items like shirts. The bulk of the wardrobe has three hooks on the wall which only take one item each, which is a little odd. The bed was comfy and the blackout blinds (with remote control) were good. The staff were good on reception, but the breakfast staff seemed very stressed and you didn't get the warmest welcome - it felt a bit of an inconvenience. The breakfast itself was good - lots of options of cold and hot food. Overall I would recommend, but there are some things that would make the stay a lot better.

We had an excellent time at Hotel Heritage. It's in such a brilliant location, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel is absolutely spotless. We arrived really early on our first day and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. We left late on our last day and our luggage was stored securely with no problem and we had a coffee waiting for us when we picked it up and departed. It's the small details like that that really made our trip, along having a brilliant view of the castle on top of the hill. If we return to Ljubljana, then we'd definitely stay here :)

We enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back as the hotel is very centrally located but also quiet. The staff were friendly and the place is very clean, super important for us. I’d recommend and also try the restaurant Breg near by the hotel, we had an excellent meal there. Overall, great experience and will return to Ljubljana!

We only stayed one night by our time here and in Ljubjlana was perfect. Front desk staff had great recommendations and helped arrange transportation in and out of the city. Perfect location in the pedestrian-only downtown. The breakfast was perfect with sweet and savory, hot and cold options. Would recommend for anyone spending time in old town Ljubljana.
