Quiet, clean, reasonable price.

It’s an older place but our room was clean. Just wanted a good bed and shower after a few days of camping. Staff was very nice.

Quite and clean

One of the better hotel/motel in HJ. Older property that was probably a man camp during construction of the road. Adequate, good beds, clean and tidy. Nice folks who run it. Reasonable rates.

When we arrived, the clerk was sitting in the office in the darkish desk area. The room numbers are too high to see from the parking lot.

It's an older motel so can't expect perfection. It was pretty clean, we had a view of the parking lot but were only there to catch a ferry the next day. Can't comment on the breakfast because we left too early.

The whole experience terrible the water was fishy

The picture they have online is definitely not the way the motel is in real life. Ran down, dirty. Verh unsafe feeling being there. Dirty sheets, dirty floors, dirty walls. The owner (or whoever he was who gave us our key) was very unfriendly as well. I do not recommend this motel at all. We booked it out as soon at we could (530am). 🙃

Location and view from the room were excellent. We went to the salmon bake with live music at the village bakery which was fun. Hike to the kings throne had beautiful views. Staff was accommodating to us parking our two rigs and allowing us to fill our water tanks.

Nice hotel. Big room. Parking close quiet

Property is right next to the main road, so with all the trucks coming through it was pretty noisy. Parking with a trailer is very limited. We were on the end room, and the owner kept coming up and down the steps and slamming doors, right next to our room. The walls are paper thin so it kept us and our dogs up all night.

Nice, clean room

The sheets were clean. That’s about all I can say.

Not a lot of choice locally.

Room is old and dated. Things are falling apart. Window was broken so could not open to get fresh air. Hotel staff is not warm and inviting.

The name says it all. It was clean and wascomfortable and the owners were friendly and helpful. Lunch delicious!

Lovely

First night stay was nice, 2 queen beds. Tonight there is 1 queen bed and what I would consider a cot. Hard as a rock and pillows are terrible.

I had 2 reservations at this hotel. Both reservations were for 2 beds. The first night was fine got there early enough and had dinner at their restaurant. Was sufficient. The 2nd night we got in late and the room had 1 bed and some sort of cot which was NOT acceptable as any form of bed. The owners response when I let them know what I thought of the bed was that they were “full”. Yes and my reservation was a part of that! My comment back was that if they had a reservation and they had that “cot” in a double room, they would not be pleased either. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is a very old and needs work. Staff our nice. Sheets and towels were clean. No air conditioning and no ice machine.

The views are amazing! Well worth the stay, the owners are sitting on a gold mine of a location.

Clean and convenient for Al-can travel!

Staff was friendly- caring.

Easy to park and unload/load, the restaurant is right on premises, room was clean, comfortable, basic. The view was very nice too.

We were able to pull our truck and trailer in to park. We checked in without incident. The property was we would expect.

Older hotel but good place to get a night sleep

Hotel owners were nice & the outside of property we’re clean. The room was clean, but dated and had no heat. There were signs about charges for towels. We just needed a place to sleep for the night.

This was a lovely room with a kitchenette and was very comfortable. The street side of the building is a semi-abandoned gas station and looks a little dicey, but motel itself was very clean and pretty.

Rooms needed a lot of TLC and painting and cleaning. They just stream channels there so slow if everyone is in for the night. I had to call for bath tub plug. Slept with window open due to nothing to control cool or hot in the room. Not recommend. Owners did try hard to accommodate.
