This property is excellent if you want to be directly across the street with direct beach access to Siesta Key Beaches and a short walk to the Village. No free trolley service needed although available. The property provides everything you could possibly need for the beach to include beach towels, chairs, kayaks, paddle boards and bikes! Highly recommend... especially for families.

Any other VRBO we have used through a rental agency has been a poor experience. Dan and Gertrude Rentals could not have been more gracious, caring, responsive and/or informative. They are not about the rental revenue, as they sincerely care about your experience and being a positive part of your stay. Cannot thank or commend him/them enough. Because of this experience, our first to Siesta Key, we will be back next year.

we arrived a tad bit early and Dan was gracious enough to let us check in as soon as the house was ready. Everything you need can be found in the house and more if you just ask him. Will definitely recommend this place to out friends.

The location of this property can’t be beat. it’s far enough away from the busy condo developments that the beach feels private and close enough to walk to the village. The public beach access is across the street and the actual walk to the beach is a little long, but it’s to be expected to enjoy the powdery sand and warm waters of siesta. beach carts are provided, so it’s no big deal: even if you were ocean front, you’d have the same distance to walk.

We loved our stay in Siesta Key. The accommodations worked great for our family and the location was perfect (right across the street from the beach access path). It was so nice to have beach towels provided along with access to beach chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon. Bicycles were also available but we did not have time to use them. My only suggestion would be to provide a scrubbing sponge and additional kitchen towels. We would definitely consider renting here again!

A very clean and beautiful apartment with all the amenities you could want. A comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Dan is an great host and is always there for you when you need him. We had a wonderful stay! There’s plenty of room for everyone, and the location is great. You can walk to the beach, or take a trolley out to the village of Siesta Key, where there are plenty of restaurants and shopping options.

So close to the beach! Easy check-in process. Short walk to the village. Loved the trifold doors that open up to the ocean view! Will stay here again for a family staycation!

Everything about our stay was so nice! Loved the space. We were able to use the community dining downstairs from coming off the beach. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms. Cant wait to book again!

We really enjoyed are stay. The place is clean and located super close to the beach. We also enjoyed the fact that beach chairs and umbrellas were available for use as well for the beach.

We selected this location for its proximity to the beach as our primary reason. It was literally across from the beach access park (#10). The facility was in very clean order when we checked in and the accommodations were exactly as advertised. In fact, there was some surprises like bikes and paddleboards that were not advertised. While we’rent able to use them, that was a nice surprise. House also has beach chairs and wagons to move stuff to / from beach. A huge plus !! The tennis courts were literally down the street (short golf cart ride) away. We used those every morning. The beach was AWESOME. There was news of red tide, but we didn’t encounter any of it. The water was nice and warm and the sand was amazing Dan (our host) was great with answering any questions both before and during our stay. Very prompt and helpful. We will be returning next year !!

The property was alright. We ran out of toilet paper on Christmas. There was only one roll for each bathroom. The dishwasher leaked. And the property is described as 30 ft from the beach, but it is actually across the street and the path to get to the beach is 30 feet from property. That was disappointing because we thought we booked a spot on the beach. The property manager was responsive and kind. He offered a list of activities to experience in the area and allowed us the option of he king in early.

We had a wonderful five days at this condo in Siesta Key! Fit out like family of 5 well and have us time to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Our host, Daniel, was very responsive to any question that we had during and before our stay. So nice to have everything we needed on site like beach chairs, towels and wagon! Thank you again!

We needed a property with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Our group consisted of 4 adults, 1 college grandchild, and 2 teenagers. When we started looking, there weren't many available that fit our needs and our budget. Our #1 priority was ocean view & steps to the beach, plus walking distance to bars/restaurants/shopping. Dan's rental was PERFECT. This is a 2nd floor huge apartment with alfresco dining and ping-pong table game room below. Also, at ground level is a sitting area & attached garage with bikes, paddleboards, carts to haul chairs and gear to beach, & laundry room. The apartment has been tastefully updated & furnished. Teens slept in the bunk room & the other 2 bedrooms were spacious with comfy Tempur-Pedic mattresses & tons of closet space with lots of hangers (thank-you very much for this small detail!). The 2 extra rollaways even had TP mattresses. Very impressive. We had zero problems but, still, Dan was at our beck & call. He has an onsite tech guy (Pat) who arrived in minutes (not kidding) to help my husband figure out the TV & streaming of our local MN sports team game that he couldn't miss. Our teenage grandchildren hadn't yet arrived to help us with this complicated issue! We feel we had the best spot on the beach, seriously. Right outside our door was beach Access 10. Short little hike to, literally, our private beach. But, close enough to the public beach so as to experience the drum circle on Sunday evenings. I was skeptical, but Dan assured us that we would not need a car or golf cart to get around. We nervously did not rent a car & did not need one!! The Siesta Village trolley stopped right in front of our rental every 20 minutes day & nite. This location is truly magical--Siesta Key Village, as a whole, is our most favorite destination to date! We were blown away by the restaurant/bar choices: The Summer House, The Cottage, Mojo's, Bonjour French Cafe, IL Panificio pizza (outstanding!), Island House Tap (live music!!!), Spearfish Grille (outside of village -- WOW) & Cafe Gabbiano for Thanksgiving, to name a few. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ALL a trolley ride away. Oh, and Morton's Siesta Market--everything you need for groceries & thee best local coffee beans! In summary, RE: Daniel. Very attentive and eager to please. BEST. HOST. EVER. We will be back, it's all my family dreams about.

Great spot to spend the week. A shirt walk to all things Siesta key. We had the best time in one of our favorite spots in Florida.

We enjoyed our stay here. The only issues we had were that some of the photos were a little misleading and there were little to no supplies at all in the unit. Not even cleaning supplies. Again, the place was great and an awesome location, but we are just used to rentals having a few more supplies available to prevent you from having to bring a whole bunch of things on your trip. One side note: the beach chairs and bikes were super high quality and in great shape.

Our stay was one of the best on the beach. Being able to walk to the beach, almost private due to the tranquility and calm. In the evening we walked downtown, with all kind of stores. The area is beautiful with flower gardens, natural fauna such as turtles, rabbits, squirrels, exotics birds . The atmosphere is very familiar. We hope to return soon!
