Het personeel doet er alles aan voor een zo goed mogelijk verblijf. Ze zijn zeer behulpzaam.

Vanwege het weer was het erg koud in de honeymoonsuite. Ramen en deuren laten veel kou door.

The food and service were outstanding! The surrounding bush and gardens are beautiful. It's quiet and peaceful.

I would've appreciated a door at the toilet/shower entrance.

Many spiders

Lovely place in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The decor in the old homestead and cottages is top notch and the beds are comfortable

Although the staff were very friendly and willing, they noticeably lacked suffucient training, i.e. taking dining orders etc. The manageress seemed to be overwhelmed... it took serveral requests from us for her to arrange getting rid of spiders in the rooms.

The property is beautiful, very well decorated! The common spaces are amazing, you really feel like home! The staff was also great! We really appreciated having the option to have lunch and dinner there and the food was amazing! (breakfast too) The views from our room were unique

The property is in a game reserved, so there is a bit of offroad to get there (10 minutes) Also, it was quite complicated to communicate with the guesthouse before arrival

The location was wonderful, as well as the common areas and the garden.

The personel was not very hospitable. Communication during the booking process was very unfriendly and practical questions remained unanswered until 2 hours before arrival. We stayed for 2 days and the manager in charge promised us to book a game drive in the reserve. I suggested to book online myself (there were lots of spaces available), but she assured me that she had teken care of it and that she booked for us at 10 am on the last day of our stay. Unfortunately, we were informed half an hour in advance that the game drive was fully booked and that we could not join. My childeren were hugely disappointed and we would have planned our day very differently if I would have known at least the day before. Service during diner and breakfast was chaotic, with the manager addressing the staff in an admonishing manor in our presence. Our rooms were very noisy and the cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved. In particular the toilet was looking a bit decrepit.

What an unique place! Faith was a wonderful host. And the staff was good. The decoration is sophisticated and cosy. The diner was excellent near the fireplace. We wish we could have stay longer in this unique place. Plus in the reserve of the lodge, we have seen giraffes, zebras… what a wonderful surprise! We will definitely come back!
