Awkward access. No storage.

Location was great,parking very close,warm place with underfloor heating and fan heater,cosy at christmas.

Parking not easy, would have liked heating in bathroom as floor very cold in there. Metal frame on the sofa bed felt through the mattress in a couple of places

Location, didn't need to use the car. Felt quite safe.

Curtains to thin, winter curtains would be more cosy and help to keep chill out.

Perfect location, an easy walk into The Strand. Very quiet location. Friendly owners. Welcomed when I arrived and left in peace during my stay. Everything you could possibly need.

Great location and a quirky little property. Lovely decor and an excellent use of a small space. Hosts were friendly & communication excellent. Great for a short visit to Dawlish.

Great for a short stay but storage would be an issue for longer visits.

Location was a bit further out but still an easy 15 min walk to town. Bed really comfy for one and had all the requirements provided.

Felt rather like you were at the bottom of someones garden.as overlooked by owner of property in house very nearby. Couldnt work the oven at all.very complicated and frustrating .Not much privacy when sat outdoors as people overlooking the apartment and nearby residents in houses nearby .

What was there not to like. We loved everything. From the host's to the accommodation, to their dog Arnie. Lynn and Dave made our stay more pleasurable by providing home comforts like milk, coffee, tea... even things you won't expect. The way the place was layed out was very clever and stylish even in the small space, was enough room for two and enjoyed the outside sitting area where we enjoyed some drinks and barbecue. Lynn and Dave was always checking us if we needed anything. We are definitely booking our next stay in the future

We had an outstanding stay at the little fountain house. The property is compact but well appointed, with everything you can possibly need. Beautifully decorated with the added touch. Very comfortable bed with nice soft bedding. Extremely clean inside and out. Where else can u stay with a fabulous fountain right on your doorstep? The hosts David and Lynn are wonderful, so welcoming, they are there when you need them. We went away for our wedding anniversary but alas I fell in love with another! His name is Arnie, David and Lynns gorgeous dog! The area of Dawlish is just gorgeous, quaint little shops, a lovely Brooke with their famous black swans, not forgetting the swooping landscape and stunning crystal clear sea. I can not recommend this property enough, we are booking for next year! 😊

We had to go home!

Lovely location, property is small but for one person perfect. A lot of thought had gone into fitting out the property with everything needed, all new and high quality. Having the terrace was a bonus in the recent hot weather.

Salt and pepper in the kitchen would have been useful. It’s quite a walk from the town but worth the hills.
