Great location, perfect little getaway

The place was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location was wonderful and had many amenities.

There really wasn't anything we did not like about this place. We had beautiful weather, friendly interactions with the people we saw and enjoyed our time away. The thing we didn't like was having to leave!

I liked everything about the rental - not only was it simple and comfortable, but was well-stocked, had I forgotten anything that would've been needed. The hosts left a complimentary bottle of wine on the counter for our arrival - this was a very nice little surprise! I couldn't figure out how to lock the door (it has a code - no keys) - I texted Mrs. Luiza and she immediately responded with a quick video to lock the door. The grounds are well maintained and a lot of activities to do within the community. Beach access was nice - not overcrowded and very relaxing. The pool areas are well kept and there are almost endless amenities to suit any age.

The "vultures" at the guard shack. All are busybodies that seem to want to hassle people coming on to the grounds. Seems as though they don't like "visitors" - I hope property owners that choose to participate in the air bnb business can discuss visitor concerns with security. We were told there is parking for 2 vehicles, we were not allowed to bring a second vehicle, nor would they permit my guests husband to join us at the unit for dinner (it was my guest's birthday (Who also lives in right in Jensen Beach) and the weather was bad - we decided to stay in and eat) - the guards literally made my guest's husband leave their vehicle a couple of miles down the road and said he can drive back in with us - in our car (mind you, weather was bad, and now getting dark) we had to turn around drive back up the road, pick him up, and once again, return to the unit..would not issue a guest pass because we were "renting", not owners. I have stayed at 5 star resorts that would have never allowed security to behave this way - nor would they have restricted guests. Owners may have a difficult time getting customers to return. Although Mrs Luiza was a pleasure, I will not rent anywhere on Nettles Island the next time I head down to the Jensen/Palm Beach area. It's a shame because the amenities are nice, all others working on the grounds seemed very friendly and inviting (including pool staff) - the "Paul Blart" gang certainly wear their badges with the intent to kill any good mood on the spot...it's a shame. There are too many other beautiful places to stay in S. Florida minus the petty hassles. P.s. You will be left with a written myriad of rules - despite this, security will make their own rules.

The host was excellent, would definitely recommend this property to friend and family.
