This is a superb property! It is very comfortable, nicely decorated, well furnished and with an amazing location. Just outside Twizel, in an upscale residential community. It does have great views! Convenient access to Mount Cook and with all the comforts of a nice home.

Lovely location with beautiful views of the mountains. Good location for spending a day at Mt. Cook. Accomodation provided everything we needed.

There was a power cut at the house for most of our second day there. We asked the owner if we could get a small compensation and she was rude and said we should just go out and enjoy the day. We did leave to go get lunch as we couldn’t cook in the house. The owner texted me she had showed up at the house while we were gone which was quite unusual. When we got back to the house, the windows (we made sure we had shut before leaving) were all open. There was children handprints all over the doors from inside the house which weren’t there before we left. We are very creeped out from our stay there.

We arrived late at night as our ferry was late, the hostess Liz was over the top helpful, getting into the parking spot is not easy but her instructions were great, it’s just a kind. Of labyrinth of driveway. To wake up looking over the harbor of Wellington was nothing short of magical. And the cottage is cute, cozy and wonderful.

Though it lacks a full kitchen, we did not need anything more than she provided, a cute kitchenette with milk, granola, yogurt and coffee and tea. Liz is great, very thoughtful

We liked that the house was clean, spacious and well equipped. The view of the mountains is spectacular.

Amazing value for money - this is a high end near new property with everything you need - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine/dryer. Super quiet, comfortable beds with high quality linen. Attached to owners residence but they weren’t there.
